Macs are shit

Oh come on
that's a rubbish argument. I'm trying to provoke some interesting conversation here K2k6, HOP TO IT MAN.

I'm just pretending.
I really think that Macs are great and I wouldn't touch a PC with a bargepole as they're only for the great unwashed underclasses.

Takes pride in being an unwashed underclass
Macs are pretty, that's for sure, but they're still shit.

They actually are sexed up PCs
running a sexed up version of Unix.

They're only better because I say so.

You is wrong innit

They're a bloody rip off
My ex would've had to pay something like £200 to have her optical drive replaced if it hadn't been in warranty.

I can replace the optical drive in my PC for around £15. Perhaps £50 if I were charged £70/hr to have it replaced instead of replacing it myself.

I put a second one in my home Mac last year
for about £20. It's a Pioneer, and is the same as the one which goes in PCs. Reads and writes all manner of things short of Blu Ray.

I think she took it to an apple store so that's probably it
I actually think Macs are bloody good and much, much better than a PC running windows.

I reckon...

Macs: Best bet for non-technical users but very good all round if you want it to "just work"
Linux: Often better if you've got the know how (or know someone who'll help you out with it)
Windows: Only use it if you absolutely have no other option

That's thinking from a home / small business point of view.

But back on topic: Macs are for gheys.
