Do you ever get random really sharp pains in your head

Random, "hold your head" pains, that disappear as quickly as they arrive.

I think I might be dying...

I get these.
I'm still alive at 44 so don't worry.

Just cluster headaches
I get them every now and then.

Either that, or your head is now home to a brain tumour.

Can I keep it as a pet?

We could go for walks...

Sounds like death
you should get yourself to McDonalds.

Maybe it's a lump of fetid Mcdonalds burger meat

that has achieved consciousness and is feeding off my brain

I get these
And I've had them for years and I'm still alive, just!

Might be neck / spine related
I used to get searing headaches after *ahem* vigorous exercise. Think Spike when he had his chip installed, if you ever watched Buffy.

A lot of headaches are caused by neck/spine misalignments, apparently. A couple of visits to an osteopath for some neck and spine manipulation and voila. Rapid decrease in number of headaches that made me feel like I was going to die.

Allegedly
Pain != brain complaint

Brain contains meat, but no pain receptors. So if pain is in brain hole, pain actually occurs elsewhere.
