Right...
I posted a track by my band on here a few weeks back.
Over the weekend my drummer got our myspace sorted out, so if you fancy an afternoon slice of rock/metal-type-stuff, we've got three tracks up here:

I can't listen to this at work
but I'll get straight on it when I get home,
oh man I can't wait.

You gonna roll with some carefully pre-prepared insults?
Or go free-style?
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:06, Reply)
I'm looking up rude words in the dictionary
this very second.
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:08, Reply)
Excellent,
But don't forget, the more syllables, the more points.
Also, this thread will likely be dead by then, so feel free to gaz me.
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:10, Reply)
Nah, I don't need your namby pamby syllables

(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:12, Reply)
myspace = 14 year olds in emo bands
100% FACT
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:06, Reply)
This is very true,
But we can't afford a proper website. Unless you wanna pay for one?
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:08, Reply)
You could probably
get free space somewhere

*too lazy to look*
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:13, Reply)
Yeah...
Same thing, equally lazy.
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:16, Reply)
Where's
catface when you need someone small to bully into doing your bidding?
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:18, Reply)
I wouldn't know where to find that shiz either
So don't look at me. I've more important things to do like getting my skis waxed and concocting plans to acquire enough money to buy my own waxing iron, vices and scrapers so that I can wax them myself.

If Kaol buys me those I'll do some work for him.

mmmm

get a real singer and a decent bassist and you'll be awesome tee hee hee

nah im impressed, good work mifter
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:10, Reply)
although
im sure you can do better on the angry shouty bits
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:11, Reply)
Yeah, hopefully that'll come with practice!

(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:12, Reply)
I used to shout
in a punk band many many moons ago, think the mic volume used to be on about 1 to everyone elses 8 or 9

I found half a dozen marlboros and a few pints of caffreys helped the vocal cords
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:13, Reply)
How much more practice
of being angry and shouty do you need!?
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:13, Reply)
I rather like your picture

(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:14, Reply)
Need to get one with the new guitarist in soon, as there are actually four of us.
Had to get the drummer to stand way in front as he's so short!
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:16, Reply)
so when
are you going to play a gig local?
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:17, Reply)
That's what we're trying to sort at the moment,
Likely to be in the next month or so, maybe Harlow or Bishop's Stortford.
Unless you know any venues/people in Cambridge?
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:25, Reply)
umm
The Portland arms and The man on the Moon do gigs I think, and the junction does battle of the band compos

A McClusky track?
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:46, Reply)
Yeah,
I found that out after I'd written the song, from one of your posts :p

Isn't "dirty desert music"
A quote from me?
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:25, Reply)
Hah, of couse :p
I'm not paying you though.
I find it really hard to actually come up with a way of describing the genre-type-thing, so that was a good quote.
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:27, Reply)
That's ok
I won't charge royalties ;)
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:39, Reply)
Thank you, but it's not my cup of tea, I'm sure it's fine and you've got a big following, it's just my tastes and what you play are two different things.
I do hope you don't mind, no offence, it's just forum banter.
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:30, Reply)
Haha!
Trust me, no offence taken at all :p

As for a big following and such-like... No a chance, we've only just got our first EP recorded, so we're as unknown as unknown can be.
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:40, Reply)
Maybe the live show would be more to my tastes, and it hasn't translated into the music?
Is your dancing all coordinated nicely? I quite like a bit of that Swing stuff, myself.
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:49, Reply)
Haha!
For you, Gonz, I'd co-ordinate the universe.
(, Mon 15 Jun 2009, 14:52, Reply)
If I could rearange the alphabet, I would put 'U' and 'I' together.

You damn charmer, you!
I'm still gutted I missed Saturday, sounds like a lot of fun.
