But it's also a chunky bugger, usually on Symbian you have to manually shut down any app you use to stop it freezing, and I have to convert any films I wanna put on there before they work (I could download DivX but it always seems to be shite on Nokias).

On the other hand, the Tocco ultra has no wifi, a pretty basic OS and I'm still a bit unsure about touchscreen phones.

The iPhone/Touch has the best touchscreen I've used, you still have to mostly look at the screen though.
Judgement on the N97 is reserved 'till I try it, but it has the full qwerty.

I'm tempted to play with the N97, I think that now it's got OviStore, I could be persuided to trade the iPhone.

Ovi is nokia's failed attempt to take over the social networking scene, the full browser version is slow and clunky, filled with so much javascript that nothing really works.
But they've seen the error of their ways and allowed widgets/mini-apps to allow intrigation into pretty much anything.

OviStore is an 'App Store' from Nokia.

The thing is, with a 8-16gb MicroSD Card, the N96 would make a more than resnable MP3/4 Player and snapper-camera, plus phone too.
The battery isn't so hot, but the latest firmware makes that slightly better.
