or are there any MAC users out there?
My personal preference will always be PC (i even remember the good old days of being able to reconfig the system in DOS to make games play dammit) but since hubby has brought home a macbook pro i'm slowly becoming a mac0phile (never thought i'd admit to that)
My pressing and immediate question tho: what good games are out there that will run on a mac os? The only ones i've seen in the local stores are fairly crap

Deus Ex is a classic that has been ported to mac though, if you can tolerate dodgy late 90s graphics then you will love it.

i'm quite content with dodgy 90's graphics...just too sentimental i guess
thanks for that suggestion though

I've always been a heavy PC user. I've used numerous OS's (Windows/Unix/FreeBSD/Linux) - They're all good for their own uses. My favourite however, is OS X.
It combines the right mix of usability (Pretty Interface!) with the awesome power of *nix. Terminal FOR THE WIN.
I also love how my iMac and Macbook Pro are silver.
I still hate mac fanboys though, Macs are great, but they're not the fucking be all and end all. I'd never host a website on a Mac ;)

The only games I have for my Mac are Command and Conquer 3, Command and Conquer Red Alert 3, Deus Ex as mentioned above and World of Warcraft.
Then again, I tend to use the PC for gaming and my MBP for Logic Pro 8 and MainStage, so gaming on my Mac isn't done...

I use crossover on my MBP (2008 version, 4Gb RAM) and it handles CS:S, HL2, HL2:EP1, HL2:EP2, Portal and Tf2 just fine.
WOW runs natively as I recall.
There's a few decent ones about - Deus Ex, Homeworld 2 etc.

Computers aren't for games, they're for serious geekwork.
