I've roped myself into playing footie at seven and really can't be arsed. So knackered!
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 16:20, Reply)

Unless it's one of those things you really don't want to do, but once you're there, you'll enjoy yourself.
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 16:25, Reply)

I'll stay in goal so I don't have to run about.
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 16:32, Reply)

That was lovely.
I am so worried about my little Felipe :(

I know; your poor pocket Brazilian has a broken head!
Poor fella. I've got a lot of time for him.
My evening couldn't have gone any better!

But yay for great evenings. It was all good then?

until I heard he was getting emergency surgery.
Yes, it was lovely. Definitely seeing her again soon:)

She used to work in the press office at CERN during the Large Hadron Collider thing which is clearly awesome.
She can be seen here www.youtube.com/watch?v=j50ZssEojtM

Meet an old mate last night and I'm really pleased I got in touch with him, went to that thai pub at 7ish, then at what felt like an hour later, it was closing time. Then we hooked up with Rosalicous and they both came 'round and we watched Harry Potter on the Blueray (the quality is well impressive).
Then this mornin' we went to the cafe.
Now I'm doing some kick-arse php'ing.
All in all: I'm well pleased with my weekend.
Also, we went to that ice cream place and got Peanut Butter Kit-kat Milkshakes.
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 16:18, Reply)

WE ARE GOING TO THAT ICE-CREAM PLACE.
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:04, Reply)

Where is this magical place? I must know.
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:21, Reply)

They turn any chocolate bar into a milkshake, and they have like 30 different ice creams (including 'gummy bear' and 'bubble gum').
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:31, Reply)

Tell me where it is, good sir!
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:41, Reply)

By the way, can't find you on PSN, it says you don't exist :(

I'm being terribly grown up. I is ironing and paying my credit card bill, which because of some bizarre techno reasons I am unable to do on line.
So I've just written a cheque for 66 pence.
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:18, Reply)

Who do you bank with? TwatWest have locked me out of online banking 3 times now for no good reason...
*likes the idea of the credit card company receiving a 66p cheque*
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:19, Reply)

Who are now owned by Barclays, with whom I already bank.
I thought I'd paid the fecker off last month, but this 66p is interest, so maybe I missed the cut off point last month. I was a bit late.
I thought about ringing them but figured it would probably cost more than the stamp!

( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:32, Reply)

People send them back claiming the bank wants the value of the cheque and then some to cash it!
If nothing else it'll piss them off :)
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:39, Reply)

Which was another reason for writing the cheque!
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:46, Reply)

I'll just tell them I tried to pay it on line and couldn't.
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:48, Reply)

take the service personality hat off, Mal, it's five to six on a Sunday.
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:56, Reply)

That's all very conscientious of you.

Actually, yes, it can be; there's one takeaway in Ashford that charges you £10 for a 9" wheel of cheese on toast...
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:46, Reply)

We haven't bought any in since she learned how to make the base during a lesson at the school she works in. They're fucking lovely!
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:47, Reply)

since my flatmate and I spend a bomb on Dominos when we can't be arsed to cook! My mother used to make them with wholemeal bases and they were foul...
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:55, Reply)

It's fucking easy and you can then chuck whatever you want on top.
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:58, Reply)

We always have a ton of cheese in the flat, and anything else can easily be chucked on top (am quite partial to tuna myself).
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:59, Reply)

All white is definitely better.
She's just been given a recipe to make nan bread as well, so will definitley be trying that out at some point.
Right, the in laws have arrived, best be sociable!

I now want to make pizza even though I have discovered two GIANT ones in the freezer my flatmate brought home yesterday.

I am playing in a $10K freeroll poker tournament. Down from 2004 to 760 players and I just doubled up a midsized stack to move into quite a strong position.
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:27, Reply)

I did not know online poker dealt in such denominations.
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:44, Reply)

so it's split over the top 100 - I think the winner gets about $800.
As it turned out my next all-in with AQ ran into AK and that was the end of my tournament.

I've written 9 caselogs since yesterday lunchtime and I've still got two to go. I don't wanna :(

Are we getting the train to the wedding or driving?
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 17:59, Reply)

I won't be taking much with me, just a change of clothes and Pj's so not a huge amount of stuff really.
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 18:02, Reply)

Only that Lord Tightlington was going on about train times, so I thought you'd said something to him.
Happy either way.
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 18:15, Reply)

but he said to call when we got there and someone would pick us up if we go by train which is pretty cool :)
FINISHED BASTARDING CASELOGS! I could only do one more as the final one was tenuous to the max at best. Yay for having an evening with nothing to do now. I suppose I should start studying really.
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 18:27, Reply)

It is Sunday, after all.
( , Sun 26 Jul 2009, 18:28, Reply)

paint my toenails, watch a film and make a big study chart for the next week and spend hours colour coding it. That should take me up til bedtime I reckon.
