Here's the deal...i've made FAR too much VERY strong coffee and it needs drinking. there's milk (hot or cold) and sugar...

Ugh, sounds vile
All I've managed today is to drink water and eat half a cup of chicken broth :(

I'm a tea drinker myself
It's more for others' benefit - coffee makes me fart like a bastard.

morning folks.
How are you all today? I'm feeling annoyingly chipper.
(, Thu 30 Jul 2009, 7:48, Reply)
If you hang round other chipper people, it won't be so annoying for them.

Morning Poppet
Thing of the kittens. The cute fluffy kittens.

Then think of me stuffing them in bin bags, adding nitric acid before throwing the mix in a wood chipper. Then you'll come down to the same mood as me.

Just started uploading music to my phone using the supplied software
and then remembered how agonisingly slow it is.

Cancelled, switched phone off, removed memory card, plugged it in to USB adaptor, dragged and dropped, put card back in phone, turned phone back on.

Copied 40+ songs in the time it would have taken to do 2, maybe 3. :)

Moorny
My bike's out of action today (second puncture in just a short while), so will have to be braving the bus today.

Don't do coffee
but thanks anyway.

Although I could use the caffeine, as I'm a bit dozy this morning.

Morning K2
I only use caffeine sparingly, but when I do, I sometimes forego the liquid and go straight to the Pro Plus pills.

Morning Spak
I've never done Pro Plus. I prefer my stimulants in dissolved form.

And as I don't drink tea or coffee, and only occasionally drink Red Bull or some cheaper equivalent, then I've never really built up any tolerance to caffeine. So one can of the stuff and I'm wired for hours!

Bloody magic,

This sounds good
I feel as though I must purge the caffine from my system.

*screws up eyes and concentrates on purging, with a rather wet sound*

Erm... sorry about the smell. *waddles sheepishly to the toilet*

It wasn't good the first time
A mate bought me a can just as we were derigging after a gig. I got the shakes and everything, then couldn't sleep when I got home!

So far
they have yet to make a caffeinated drink that tastes good. Now, if they could do Tango Orange with caffeine, I'd be a very wired Spakka.

what on earth are you talking about?
Coke tastes divine
(, Thu 30 Jul 2009, 8:56, Reply)
I beg to differ
Mind you, I don't like the three most popular drinks on the planet - tea, coffee and coca cola.

As for the high caffeine ones, yes, they all taste a bit crap. My favourite is probably Irn Bru 32, because it tastes like it's got iron filings dissolved in it. Even though the iron content is negligible: 0.05% ammonium ferric citrate if my memory serves me correctly.

Another reason I don't normally drink coffee and tea
is that I lack the asbestos mouth that most hot drink drinkers have acquired.

Water is the most popular drink on the planet, fool!
:p
