I've got a gig tonight, followed by camping and surfing on saturday and sunday.

She's recently had major surgery and she's had to give up alcohol. Imagine that? So I'm making a big chicken curry, maybe a jalfrezi.
Tomorrow I'm announcing the charity launch, pimping the web site to friends and family and working on posters and flyers to put in the hospital and doctor's surgeries.
Sunday I'll be walking about eleven miles, so long as the weather holds.

We are going to watch Eastenders followed by The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.
Fascinating!

I first watched it on my laptop in the bath in the Clarion hotel in Avignon - it used to be the papal residence there and I imagine the Popes used to do similarly.
I'm going to Arles, Carcassonne and sundry towns round Languedoc-Roussillon for the next two weeks.

But whenever I'm there I have my skis with me and would rather throw myself into the air on those!

I've been round a few times. I never knew such serenity existed there.

Just because it's fun doesn't mean it's worth doing. Whenever I'm there I can ski which, for me, is more fun so if I were to climb the wall I'd be having less fun than I could be so clearly it's not worth doing.
(Did I manage to defend my barefaced dig at MK?)

Tomorrow morning CHCB and I will be travelling to Morpeth for the weekend. I will probably spend some time grumbling about how I want to go to the fringe but can't. Ah well.

Is the car clean now, my beloved, or will I be vomiting at the sight of the interior?
( , Fri 7 Aug 2009, 9:36, Reply)

I'll clean the car out tonight if it's still light or first thing tomorrow before we begin our epic race.

You can do the actual hoovering, but I'll be there to support you in some kind of important supervisory role.

The axe I could, just about, understand but a hoover?! I'm not THAT much of a mong... I'm not going to do a Kaol anyway.
( , Fri 7 Aug 2009, 9:46, Reply)

It's just that I don't actually want to volunteer to do any actual work.
( , Fri 7 Aug 2009, 9:51, Reply)

you are too smug for words as sadly I can do neither of those things. I hate living in the Midlands. Although I may go and get gently monged in the park if it doesn't piss it down.
( , Fri 7 Aug 2009, 9:56, Reply)

I'm sure I will after getting a surf in

Tonight, nothing. Tomorrow, a friend's birthday bash. Sunday, sweet, sweet cricket.
And then one more week of work, and then two weeks off. Bliss.

Tomorrow, driving up to Morpeth, watching West Brom v Newcastle and trying not to get killed by enraged Geordies when we thrash them, then drinking with some wonderful b3tans.*
*and the other b3tans too, I suppose

Tomorrow I'm going to have 'poor-quality' time with my bezzy.
We're basically going to see how drunk we can get and see what happens.
But I'm not going to go snogging. And I'm drinking on the cheap. I'm saving my money and my snogs.
