Nope.
Currently awaiting the arrival of Badger and Bill in about an hour, Tourette's, ancrenne and BGB are away to the beach with the dog and I'm pottering around getting things ship shape in time for more visitors tomorrow.

I'm also sweating like Gary Glitter with Michael Jackson's address book on account of it being so damned hot.

I'm rather peeved that I couldn't make it up there today
Hope it's a good one.

What time you arriving in Morpeth tomorow?

(, Fri 7 Aug 2009, 15:09, Reply)
Not sure yet
Google maps says it takes around 5hrs 20mins to get from Bristol - Morpeth. I'd like to leave around 9 so I guess we'll arrive around 3.

Cool
we'll see you in the pub.

Which route are you taking? I'd try and avoid the A1 as there's major bridge works at Gateshead and the delays are supposedly horrendous. Might be quicker to head for the M6 then across the A69 at Carlisle then rejoin the A1 after the roadworks - there's only about 20 mins difference between the two anyway.

Plus the A1 is a shit road to drive on.

Was still debating M6 vs [insert other motorways here] + A1
By the sounds of things the M6 is the way to go.

Remember I want pics
or I wont believe you don't live in a castle.

How's Doglet now? Back to normal yet?
(, Fri 7 Aug 2009, 15:13, Reply)
She's not monged anymore
but the stitches in her gum are definitely uncomfortable for her - she would have normally wolfed the scrag of beef we gave her this morning; she hasn't touched it so it's in the freezer until she feels better.

Aww poor love. Is she on Metacam or Meloxidyl?

(, Fri 7 Aug 2009, 15:25, Reply)
Not sure
It was a three day course, today being the last day so the bottle's gone.
(, Fri 7 Aug 2009, 15:29, Reply)
3 days after an extraction?
Blimey, vets oop north are harsh. You can always take her in for a free nurse check and get more pain relief if she needs it.
(, Fri 7 Aug 2009, 15:36, Reply)
She has to go in again on Tuesday for a check up
Which means another dose of ACP for them to be able to even examine her. Which means yet more monginess for another 24 hours after that :(
(, Fri 7 Aug 2009, 15:39, Reply)
Not if you give it at the right time this time. Not that you did it wrong last time, but give it to her in the food again leaving more time for it to digest
since it didn't really have a chance before. So if it was 4 hours to mong before then give it to her 4 hours before the appointment.
(, Fri 7 Aug 2009, 15:49, Reply)
Yeah, we will
lesson learned :)

It's their fault for being shit and giving you a potentially harmful drug when they could give you morphine
but at least they do checkups, I locummed in one that didn't. Scary place.

C'mon Becks, we'll have our own b4sh0rz.
One with coke and whores and rullette (only spelt right) and opiats and pizzas with FIVE kinds of cheese and big screen movies, good big screen movies, better big screen moves. Big screen movies with chinese people who can jump taller than their height and swords and guns and shit. And we'll have Red Bull and Vodka Jelly Shots.
