and it comes with a 'free' PS3.
Now, at the best of times, I'm a bit clueless when it comes to anything technological, so I imagine my other half will adopt the PS3 as his own the minute it arrives - not a problem, that's why I chose that 'free' gift; however, are there any games that a dimwitted woman might enjoy playing on this console? Games that involve no killing or guns?
(the game I am currently best at is Tetris, and that's only since mr vitamin c pointed out to me that the pieces could rotate, making them easier to fit in the slots. seriously, THAT'S how fuckwitted I am)
alternatively, has anyone had a particularly satisfying bowel movement recently?

is why mr vit c 'hinted' that I might get that phone contract - he has been drooling over blu ray players every time we go into town recently, so I said I would get him one :-)
I'm quite keen to try a game or two as well though!

Riven, Bust-a-move, and BubbleBobble. Last time I played any of those was on a PS1 though, so they're a bit old...
But the very best? What I love above all others?
SingStar!!!
(In fact, I have a PS2 that I got for free and the only game I own for that is SingStar.)

I've heard good things about "Little Big Planet" on the PS3, but not played it.

turned out it wasn't flu, just bad cold + knackered. So am hoping I can avoid flu for the next 8 weeks or so, as then I'll no longer be in the at risk group, woohoo!
you survived flu too, I see? and how was wales?

I didn't have flu, er... At all, although my girlfriend was pretty ill with "a flu of some kind" last week. As always, rum is the best medicine.

Also if you wait a bit then
KATAMARI TRIBUTE.
the follow up to Katamari Damacy
This is the opening credits of the original game. The new game is a kind of remake. I've played the demo that can be downloaded from Japan.

So the game is that you start off tiny wee and you pick objects up by rolling over them. The more things you pick up the bigger you get and the bigger the things you can pick up.
No guns, no dying, no killing.

Katamari isn't out yet.
I'll ask uber-gamer Mr Bin when he gets in when it comes out and what else he can think of.

But yesterday I sharted at work. I was taking a piss and thought I'd let out a bit of trapped wind. This proved precarious, as instantly I got that warm and wet feeling to the asshole.
Luckily it didn't get as far as the boxers, so I was able to sit down, shit what little shit I had left, and wipe my arse. Job well done. Belly still feels a bit strange today but not enough to rule me out of work...

They tend to cost about £5.
Try Super Rub-a-Dub and Flow from there.

Little big planet is wonderful, I can't recommend it enough.

Any game that has Stephen Fry doing the voiceover for tutorials is a win for me (I have been playing the sodding thing for ages and still haven't achieved 100% of all collecables yet).
