hahaha - you poor love.
aside from feeling crap - how're you?
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 8:22, Reply)
That's not good!
It'll get better. Have a back rub to make it all go away. And a shoe.
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 8:25, Reply)
thrown at his head?

(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 8:26, Reply)
Well...
If it knocks him out, it stops him feeling awful, right?
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 8:30, Reply)
true true...
but depends on how long he gets knocked out for - too long and might have to bundle him off to get his noggin checked.
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 8:31, Reply)
If that's the case
Then he can get given lots of lovely drugs that'll stop him from feeling bad.

This will have to be a very scientific show throw. The aim is vital. Nobody breathe.

Stimpy - I like you already.
don't disappear please.
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 8:37, Reply)
I have no intention of disappearing!
I can' get online as oiften as I'd like, but I'm certainly not going anywhere fast. What on earth would make you say that m'dear?
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 8:40, Reply)
cos sometimes people come along, and then disappear.
you're funny and nice. would be a shame if you left.
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 8:46, Reply)
I've been lurking for a while, I've noticed that as well
Thankyou muchly for the compliment sweetie - you've made me go bright pink! You're not allowed to leave either- - you're fun to chat with and a great writer! You cannot go without letting me know where I can find more of your writings.

Ha!
Insert Dean Martin's 'non-drinkers' quote here... I got a bit wellied last night at some band night or other. But I also ate lots, and ended up really enjoying it.

My best mate emailed asking
'can we go out and get pissed on Saturday night?'

This girl drinks halves of cider and gin and tonics and I've never, ever heard her say that before. It turns out that the guy she's sort of been seeing and getting into has told her he doesn't want a relationship. Tch, men. Expect hearty hangovers on Sunday morning...
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 8:52, Reply)
I was going to say "oh getting pissed is good for that."
But I think getting pissed is the best accompaniment to most situations. She might have too much to drink and pounce on you though. Which may be a good or bad thing
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:05, Reply)
I'd fucking dig that
but it'll never happen. And I'm nowhere near good enough for her.
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:15, Reply)
don't put yourself down
that's the vet's job
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:29, Reply)
*rolls eyes*
I know I'm pretty damned awesome in many ways, but she deserves the very best.
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:36, Reply)
but I'm taken...

(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:37, Reply)
I got drunk last night and feel much better today.
Less emotional and bolshy.
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:00, Reply)
Good on you!
Getting drunk sorts me out too. Unless I get drunk like a zombie. That is bad all round.
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:06, Reply)
Can zombies get drunk though?
Surely, being dead the digestive system isn't working, so they can't process the booze?
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:12, Reply)
So why do they eat brains?

(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:16, Reply)
For the fun of it.

(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:21, Reply)
because they can
wouldn't you?
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:29, Reply)
I went for a "quick drink" after work
now I feel like shit, I'm at work and I haven't had a shower.
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:04, Reply)
I did that monday night.
I finished work at 11. I'd been drinking anyway, then went for a nightcap for the road. That's the one that does it. I must have made the office smell of tramp the next day.
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:09, Reply)
I finished work at 5pm :(

(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:13, Reply)
I used to love doing that.
Too much beer on no dinner makes for a mental night out. I can't do it any more though.
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:18, Reply)
I had to have a sandwich in the pub,
still could barely walk on the way home.
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:20, Reply)
It's been a couple of years since I did that.
Maybe I'll hit it next week, although all this getting up at 5.50am lark is a bit of a bind.
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:24, Reply)
I don't feel human without a shower in the morning
even after staying in and getting an early night.

you have my sympathy.
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:17, Reply)
Yeah I might have a wash with the swine flu alcohol gel.

(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:22, Reply)
not a bad idea
at least you'd feel fresh with your hangover, rather than skanky (which is how I assume you are feeling)
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:25, Reply)
Don't wash your genitals with it
They'll sting like hell. Apparently.
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:45, Reply)
stay off the gargle
for about a week and you'll feel much better. I gave up for a month before my kid was born and felt full of beans, back to my old ways now though.. *grabs coat and heads to pub*
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:07, Reply)
I did that a while back
I realised I was drinking 4 or 5 cans every night and then going out with mates at the weekend for *proper* drinking.

It was really hard the first evening - habit is really powerful - but it got easier. Nowadays I drink every other evening :-)
