I am flagging this afternoon. I have just come back from the sweet shop of wonderment with: Giant Parma Violets, Hubba Bubba MAX Gum, a Refresher bar, Halls Lozenges (I feel lurgie is on the way) and a Strawberry & Cream Lolly.

this has reminded me of something. my mum gave me a plant for my garden (she is very green-fingered) and she said that it produces all these little purple flowers which you can pick, freeze in ice cubes and put in your G&T to look pretty.

Fantastic!
Parmos are a Northern delicacy. Primarily Middlesbrough,not sure how far they have spread.
It's a breaded pork escalope topped with bechemel sauce and cheese. Usually purchased from pizza shops, occasionally a classier version is available in restaurants.
Also available in chicken/"hotshot" varieties.

I went to the supermarket for "essentials"
Yesterday, I came back with 10 bagels.

Today, I got what I needed (butter, apples, some cheese) but also doughballs and garlic dip, 20 mini cookies and some Cadbury's eclairs.
