I've just had a craving for a jam doughnut with lots of sugar on the outside.
It was a delightful thought, as I haven't had one for yeeeaaaaars, and I don't know where the thought wandered in from.

What are you craving?
Or talk about doughnuts.
Your choice.
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 10:13, 44 replies, latest was 16 years ago)
I'm craving attention.
LOOK AT ME GODDAMIT!

Not enough doughnuts

Story of my life.

(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 10:26, Reply)
Yeah, I'm looking.
Now what?
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 10:37, Reply)
Erm.......
*poses*
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 10:42, Reply)
I gave you all that attention for THAT?
I made a cup of tea, provided you with military-grade attention and everything.
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 10:43, Reply)
You caught me off guard.
People on here usually just ignore me.
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 10:46, Reply)
Ah, fair enough
Should I bear that in mind in future? Or will next time be different?
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 10:47, Reply)
Next time will be different.
It's just a phase I'm going through.

Like this week's QOTW effects?
That does seem to have had a powerful effect on you. Surely you must be relieved that it's almost over. Maybe we'll have a more sobering subject this coming week to give you a good chance to recover.
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 10:51, Reply)
God I hope so.
A subject akin to a bucket of cold water being dumped over me.
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 10:53, Reply)
How about:
"I actually watched paint dry once just to see how boring it was. What extraordinarily tedious thing have you done that's so fucking soul-destroying in its uninspiring blandness that you're astonished that all the cells in your body didn't spontaneously give up? Describe this event in enormous detail. The more words the better."

Gosh! I feel better already : )
Unfortunately I'm having a massage tonight so I'll probably get the horn again.
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 11:00, Reply)
One step forwards, three steps back, eh?
Perhaps you should consider something less horn-inducing, or just go with the flow and indulge in an evening of self-entertainment?
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 11:02, Reply)
Meh!
Can't cancel my appointment now.
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 11:07, Reply)
You should stop this before he asks for pictures.

(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 11:05, Reply)
I suspect he knows how old I am so I'm not really worried about that.

A hot sausage roll
A big greasy one. My body is demanding complex fats and protein and salt.
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 10:30, Reply)
I had a cold one yesterday.
But when it repeated on me it tasted like corned beef pasty.

Bakery fail?
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 10:40, Reply)
Possibly, but cold sausage rolls are the devil's turds wrapped in his own foreskin
They need to be hot to work and even then it's a lottery. I love them, but couldn't face them for nearly a year after having one that seemed to contain more bits of bone and other stuff than "meat". I think the wrong bit of the pig fell into the mechanical meat reclaimer.

Fortunately, I'm cured now.
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 10:45, Reply)
Sounds suspicious
It was probably rat.
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 10:50, Reply)
Burgers
Preferably with Bacon & Cheese.
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 10:46, Reply)
A gourmet one?
Or a burger-van one? Or maybe one of those microwave Rustlers ones...
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 10:58, Reply)
Large mocha and a double choc-chip cookie
And I'm going to have one right now.

There are other things I also crave currently but it's working hours.
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 11:08, Reply)
I do have an urge for spearmint polos.
Best of all the mints.
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 11:09, Reply)
Funny
After all your consternation at QOTW answers this week, I thought it was going to be an urge for Spearmint Rhino, not polos
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 11:14, Reply)
Did you ever try Skittles mints?
They had:

Spearmint
Peppermint
Toffeemint
Eggmint
Royalmint
Linuxmint

....i think.
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 11:16, Reply)
Nope, never tried them.
My all time favorite is spearmint chews but they play havoc with your teeth.

Aww
I'm leaving MK alone for this one, I might post about Buxton or Kendal or maybe even Barnstaple... I've bashed Cambridgeshire enough in previous posts.

EDIT: Hunstanton is pretty 'special' too!
(, Thu 29 Oct 2009, 11:57, Reply)

I'm tempted to fire up the meat puppet
and write a lengthy yarn about something.

I'm up to my eyes in work - more than I've had in ...bloody hell...more work that I've had in YEARS.
Therefore it's time to start posting to QOTW again.
Perhaps.
