I just don't think he'll get a fair trial over there. I haven't seen the US media's reaction to any of this (something to look at in a little bit), I get the feeling that he's going to be given the maximum possible sentence. He admits he broke in, for harmless reasons. Whether or not they are harmless and he's telling the truth about them, we don't know. A fair trial with the US intelligence community involved just won't happen though.

I would recommend having a look at the US secret services record of evidence tampering in order to convict the man they want to.
Paul Foot wrote many articles uncovering many flaws in trials.

Just because a man wrote some articles doesn't make it explicit he won't get a fair trial.

I find rash and possibly misinformed sweeping opinions amusing.

I don't think that any person who has a trial where intelligence communities are involved will get a fair one! It's the nature of keeping secrets - people will want it kept a secret, so will do what they can to keep it a secret.
It's not based on any fact or research, this is just my opinion.

A rash sweeping opinion in itself?
