B3ta ladies
I'm trying to find Mrs V a gift for christmas of a necklace of some kind. (already given her a pearl necklace hohoho)

Not particularly expensive, I was thinking a wooden beady sort of thing. Any suggestions as to where to look?

But it says sold out
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:06, Reply)
yeah, that was me
I noticed there was only one left, and thought fuck it, I'll have it
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:08, Reply)
Don't buy a necklace from a guy who spouts this tripe.
And the most important thing - I do these necklaces with love. They are charged with positive emotions and happiness - take a good care of them - and they will take of you. I promise!
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:06, Reply)
I was ignoring that
and going for the versatility thing.
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:07, Reply)
But it's gorgeous
And sold out
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:07, Reply)
Surely the most important thing is that they're not shit?
What a fucking bender.
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:08, Reply)
hahahaha
too true

I think I was mostly swayed by the fact that the girl modelling it is quite hot
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:09, Reply)
Hahaha
You should do his write up:

'Buy these necklaces, they're not shit'
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:10, Reply)
Stunning endorsement!
And hiya

(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:28, Reply)
Ah, boo to that, dude!
I've got to go and advise a harassed/bullied person in a bit.
That should be nice and depressing.
Other than that, I'm supa dupa fly.
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:34, Reply)
Aww bless ya!
I had to be the harassed/bullied person yesterday and moan to one of the partners... it is a bit depressing but the moaner will be happy to have you to moan at! :D
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:42, Reply)

(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:47, Reply)
Sort of thanks
I had a loooooong meeting yesterday and said what needed to be said, so did another girly and we're leaving it with the bigwigs now... they had a meeting today about everything so we'll see what occurs now.

I hope she gets a kick in the bottom!

weapon of choice?
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:58, Reply)
Probably one of the paper files in our
records room... they give evil papercuts... I'm going for slow and painful deaths here.

EDIT: And a brick... that's my usual weapon of choice
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 15:05, Reply)
I recommend half a brick
in a sock :-D
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 15:15, Reply)
Ah good thinking
I see you've played this game before!
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 15:32, Reply)

(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:10, Reply)
I love the Cure
their best song is Burn off the Crow OST, but the album Disintegration is excellent
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:12, Reply)
I would like to put forward that
"The strangest girl in the world" is one of the other of those 3 decent songs they did.

NINJA EDIT: The song's actually called "The Perfect Girl". I'm an idiot.
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:21, Reply)
I was thinking of Killing an Arab
Then I thought, what about Cure songs?

I had thought he was dead
but he was on Harry Hill's TV burp the other day, after having been an extra in Casualty or some shit
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:43, Reply)
He was fucking terrible wasn't he?
Apart from the brilliant and much sought-after 'Atmosphere' 45, of course.
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:55, Reply)

(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:55, Reply)
God yeah

(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:57, Reply)
Facepunch list.
Make sure you back this up in case you lose the notebook. I would hate to think we missed anyone from 'the great culling'.
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 15:23, Reply)
For some reason
I read that as 'helmet' adverts. I've been here way too long, obviously...
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 15:02, Reply)
a more fitting person to advertise such things
you would struggle to find...
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 15:08, Reply)
Any local craft workshops in your vicinity?
You might be able to get something hand made and a little bit quirky from there, rather than something that has been mass produced.
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:00, Reply)
That is good thinking
and is why Etsy is a good call. All handmade stuff.
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:01, Reply)

some nice stuff
I was after something supplemental to the other presents though, and so that stuff is a little pricey.
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:38, Reply)
Try the market then...
...a nice goldie lookin' chain with "Mrs V" would be quite attractive in certain circles. (Another benefit is everyone would know she is yours and not try to make a move.)
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 15:09, Reply)
I find Oliver Bonas
has a good selection of stuff at varying prices.
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 14:59, Reply)
Camden has loads of that kind of tut.

(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 15:16, Reply)
Fat Face, yo.
Also, any kind of surfy shop. Maybe FAT WILLIES?
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 15:18, Reply)
Or you could make her one out of things that can be foraged for.
Like pieces of bark, pine cones, otters noses and a conker.
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 15:19, Reply)
Or...
...dried white dog poo.
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 15:21, Reply)
it doesn't exist!
Grrr
(, Tue 1 Dec 2009, 16:04, Reply)
TK Maxx
