And it's subtally been eating at my unconscious thoughts until I have the sudden urge to get, to the point where I'm going to crack tomorow and get one.
Oh man, I can't wait to griddle some asparagous and salmon, with some boiled new potatos, and a nice sweet chilli sauce.
I'd have some of that tonight, but that bitch clendrix is forcing me to have thai later.

But I've been thinking about getting one since this week. My creamy peppercorn sauce was the shiznit by the way. Ooh that Clendrix, what a bitch. Clendrix, you're a terrible bitch...

I do like a bit of creamy peppercorn sauce on a medium-rare fillet steak with a side of pom-frits.

I'm sure I remember him getting some kind of hideous reindeer sweater in that.

and it's a rather seasonal trade, I'm guessing. Do you want them to starve in June?

I reckon you're sitting at a knitting machine right now spewing them out!

But boo that you have to go to work! Me? Covered in paint having painted the lounge for next week's festivities, but on the whole I'm just fine and dandy! :)

I'm going to woo myself, because I think I deserve one. Woo!

If it's a place that is your own (even if you are just renting it, like I am), then it makes life so much more comfy. And there was a farmers market outside today. Duck eggs FTW! :)

I couldn't give a shit because it has a lovely vibe, maaaan.

My colleagues are the horrible, chick-flick-watching type who don't believe you can be friends with former boyfriends and insist I cut all ties with him and my past by moving. And try to set me up with people who are not in any way sexually appealing to me and old enough to be my father.

And they were horrid turbulent times.
Then my best mate lived here for 6 months.
For a while after, I left the spare room as a junkyard and didn't go in there as it had their 'mark' on it, but after 5 years of slow reclaiming it is now a bit of the house that I use and sleep in and love.
I occasionally find the odd photo or bank statement but it changes nowt.

My colleagues think splitting up with me makes him THE DEVIL (especially as I had to buy a bed - because sleeping in the same bed would not in any way be weird, right?) and every time they are reminded of his existence ask me why I don't cut him out of my life. Bah.
(, Sun 6 Dec 2009, 19:41, Reply)
Am jumping between PC and lappy at the moment since I have just acquired Windows 7. The plan is to make it my Internets Machine™ and keep it by the bed.
(, Sun 6 Dec 2009, 18:56, Reply)
This is a vast improvement on all my evening/weekend internetting previously being done on my mobile phone.
Woo. And yes, you can take them to bed but don't fall asleep and drop it.
(, Sun 6 Dec 2009, 19:00, Reply)
But it sits quite comfortably on your lap and does the job - it was my main computer for two years till it started to die. Clean install and it's all good - simples!
(, Sun 6 Dec 2009, 19:21, Reply)
I'd forgotten the keyboard is somewhat temperamental and Windows is bitching that my graphics card is out of date but it's still good enough just for internets.
