So what's the best thing that's happened to you in the last decade?
I would have to say the highlight for me was meeting my dad and half brothers for the first time 5 years ago at the age of 30.

Getting proper counselling.
Being a full-time parent. It kicks arse and even struggling like fuck for money it's still a million times more fulfilling than I ever dreamed.

As odd and awful as that may sound, it's true- she was making me insane, and doing a lot of harm to me and to my kids. She's still a mentalist and is seriously disturbed- but at least now the kids have one sane parent.

It was hell, but I can't say that I regret leaving. And now I am stronger than ever.

You know that AAA are doing a tipsy tow service through the New Year? Too drunk to drive they'll come and give you a free tow (up to 7 miles).
