To those who saw my post yesterday about my 'suicidal friend', thank you for your concern, she's fine. The guy was lying. What a cunt.
To those who didn't see it, don't worry, it wasn't that interesting.
I'm in quite a good mood this morning, I worked 14 hours yesterday, and got a shitload done. Granted, I'll have to do it again today, and probably tomorrow as well, but ah well, what can you do? I'll have spotify to keep me company (Had Mastodon - Crack The Skye, Devildriver - The Fury Of Our Makers Hand & Behemoth - Evangelion last night).
How are we all today?
Also, what recommendations can you give me for spotify? It can't be something I can sing along to, just something for background music.

what was his motivation? or was it merely being a defective person?
are you familiar with 65daysofstatic?
give them a try. Guaranteed unsingalongable

His motivation was due to something which I still find hard to believe. He used to be married, my friend G found out his wife was cheating on him. G told him, he confronted his wife, and so she left him. He blames G for all this, because he was happy before she told him.
Like I said, a cunt.

He simply messaged me telling me that she'd jumped off a building, asked me to pass the message on with a smiley face.

Have a vendetta against someone who ultimately did him a favour? If his missus was cheating she'd probably have left him anyway; he probably just helped her make the decision a bit quicker is all.

He was so smug about the entire affair, it rivalled Vipros. That made it worse, he genuinely thought he was right.

I guess the phrase "don't shoot the messenger" is not one with which he is familiar?

Or have I missed something?

I mean he was so smug about upsetting G so much, that's what made it worse.

In a similar vein, anything by Fingathing.
There is a playlist of Charlie Brooker's that I downloaded which features all the music ever used in Screenwipe and Newswipe. I can't guarantee complete non-singalongability but it's a good mix and there are some great tunes in there.

Also, one entitled 'Aural Contraceptive'. The challenge is to do the dirty through the entire length of the playlist without being put off. You'll see what I/he means when you check the track listing (think gregorian chant versions of 'I Guess That's Why They Call it the Blues':

See if they've got Rainstorms: The Tears of God by Lee Spencer.

always dodgy telling a mate something like that. Never know how they'll react as obviously they're going to be devastated. Only had to do it once thank fuck.
Oh and you if you like electro/indie give Metronomy a whirl. Nights Out is an ace album and Not Made for Love is also mega.
