I like pretty much everything the Coen brothers have done, even the stuff that gets below-average reviews like The Ladykillers. However saw No country for old men recently and just could not get into it. So maybe maybe.

Mr Hulot's Holiday is a masterclass in slapstick...

Could be a bit boring though.

That's the surprising thing about it. Tati was inventive enough when making it that it doesn't get boring.
I think the closest thing in English film would be a silent version of a Norman Wisdom film.

That does sound good. Didn't know it was Tati.
Went to the pub and.. stayed at the pub.

She sounds a bit of an idiot in real life, but she's totally beautiful and moves like an angel. Had a crush on her for quite a while. Just my type, looks-wise, and I don't usually fancy schlebs.
I've seen it before though. Decisions, decisions. I'm off out to see some dodgy covers band now. Will decide when I get back.

...at a test audience screening my mate had tickets to. My review on the questionnaire they gave us went:
"I would pay good money to watch Simon Pegg read the phone book but even I have to draw the line somewhere."
It was funny in parts but overall I was very unimpressed.

That was lowest on my mental list of possible choices. It got the worst reviews from the people who matter. Simon Pegg's done a few dodgy movies in my opinion.
