This always happens
eventually they'll find some more Beatles songs that weren't good enough to release back in the 60's and make an album out of them.

If you chuck enough crap ingredients in a pot and call it stew, somebody will eat it.

*orders double portion of stew*
EDIT in the case of Hendrix is doesn't 'always' happen - this is the first legitimate release of studio sessions since the Cry of Love and War Heroes came out in 1970.

So nerr.

*Puts fingers in ears* lalalala i'm not listening...
yeah, I saw your reply to BGB just in time to see that I was talking out of my botty-bot (in regards to Hendrix).

I liked some of the Jeff Buckley stuff released after his death
But most of it was stuff he was actually working on for an album so it did give a nice glimpse.
I'm sure he wouldn't have been happy though.

That's what The Cry of Love, War Heroes and Rainbow Bridge
were for Hendrix - nearly finished stuff that was about to come out.

I cant wait until Chesney Hawks dies
not because I think they'll find a wealth of un-released talent, just because of that fuck-awful song "one and only". What an arsehole.

hahaha
You're a man after my own heart, Drac.

Huzzah!
sorry to completely change the subject...but do you ever do anything to steak to tenderize it before cooking? I dont want to bash my meat (fnnar) but i've heard that certain marinades really give steak a soft texture, e.g. soy sauce.

Nothing at all.
Pathetically, other than definitely 'resting' the fucker for a good few minutes once you've coooked it, the most 'revelatory' piece of advice I have on the subject is always to cook them from room temperature.

In terms of ensuring tenderness, I just buy expensive steaks....
(, Tue 2 Feb 2010, 14:41, Reply)
I do all that as well.
I dont think i'll bother messing with a nice bit of meat, soy sauce would probably change the taste too much.

Definitely
Who wants a fucking Chinese steak?

NB I'm not actually offering everyone Chinese steaks, sorry if it came across like that.
(, Tue 2 Feb 2010, 14:48, Reply)
not before
but during cooking - a little soy sauce, a drop of Worcester sauce, and a little drop of tabasco. some butter in the oil is good as well.

That is a truly inspirational piece, actually

i'm quite funny sometimes, but I could never do stand-up
I managed about 5 mins of the FHM stand-up awards on TV yesterday. Like Monty once said about himself, I really get embarassed for people. (does any of that make sense? my fingers arent typing what my brain is thinking)
(, Tue 2 Feb 2010, 14:28, Reply)
Yeah I go red for people.
I just think "Oh sit down in case you make a mistake".
Like that with singers too.
