Are you a QOTWer? Do you want to start a thread that isn't a direct answer to the current QOTW? Then this place, gentle poster, is your friend.

Some weeks the QOTW is sweetness and light and brings out the best in people. Some weeks, quite the opposite. I fear that this week's one, while cathartic in its own way, is a stream of negativity.
Having said that, what has been everybody's favourite ever QOTW? After I joined B3ta I did trawl the archive. The Ghosts one had many an interesting read, the shit and puke ones not so much.

The first farting one had me in hysterics for pretty much the entire thing.
Funerals one was also superb.
Best for me though is probably "Have you ever seen a dead body?", because it allowed me to properly talk about my Mum for the first time in 11 years. It helped.

I liked The Dark, that was a pretty good question because it had so many differnt answers, some heartfelt, some twattish!
This question has potential to be good, if only people would not go for the simple replies.

How do you get a gay man to shag your girlfriend?
Shit in her cunt.

This one is a bit limited in that respect, but that said, I enjoy a bit of bile and vitriol every now and again. I tend to skip the 'list' entries, though, as they seem to be little more than *insert famous person* - cunt.
I don't know if I've had a favourite. When animals attack was quite good, as I remember.

Maybe I'm just peurile but that had me crying with laughter at every story. Really should have read it at home, not at work!
Actually I'm bored and at work now. I might just go read it again!

whenever there's a QOTW that everyone thinks is crap, there's still a handfull of posters who can make some great posts of it. Likewise, when it's a question with potential for lots of amusing answers, you can still get loads of rubbish posts. A good example of the latter is the Pointless Experiments QOTW (which is also one of my faves), where there were toomany posts about mixing foodstuffs and creating explosions.
QOTW - it's what you make of it.
