for those really slow people who magically end up walking in front of you when you're on a busy road, no matter how hard you try to avoid them, and their constant flatulence has an effect similar to your problems with wing-tip vortices.

I just stick my card in a local ATM when I get to where I'm going. And anything over about €/$/£20 or so goes on plastic anyway.

that you can use abroad without charges. it's a top-up credit card essentially, so you load what you wnat/think you'll need and off you go.

Did that in Switzerland in December, worked out great.
I do love how ignorant us Brits are when we travel though. Was over there for football, got through passport control in Basle and it hit us that no one knew what language they spoke or what currency they used.
