Much like Flim's earlier geekiness
I too an seized with technoglee as my Palm Pré has arrived. I'm trying to resist the temptation to spend the afternoon setting it up and fiddling with it when I should be working.

What are you resisting the urge to fiddle with What was the last thing you had delivered?
(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 13:50, 35 replies, latest was 16 years ago)
I'm thinking about getting one of those.
Please fiddle like mad and provide any thoughts which crop up, thanks!

Will do
I've got an LG Viewty at the moment which was great a few years back but has become annoying. It shall be passed on to one of my luddite friends to use for calls and text only.

I've just had a load of lovely
face scrubs and masks and stuff delivered from Temple Spa, I am uber fancy!
(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 13:59, Reply)
I can only use Ready Brek for face scrubs
I used to love face scrubs.
(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 14:00, Reply)
Why? That's odd
Do you have allergies or are you just combining breakfast with your facial routine?
(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 14:02, Reply)
Eeeh no I hate Ready Brek
Well, actually the only Ready Brek I've eaten has fallen into my mouth off my face.
I haz rosacea. Everything irritates and makes my face red and bumpy.
(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 14:06, Reply)
I can't see that in your photos.
You look pale and interesting.
(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 14:08, Reply)
Ah, that's because
a) I try to eliminate things that irritate it (apart from booze)
b) I wear this non-irritating mineral make-up to keep me at my normal level of ghostiness.
(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 14:09, Reply)
I use mineral make-up on the rare occasion I wear any.
It's good stuff innit.

Saved my life
My little mum swears by it now too.
She looks millions better.
(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 14:13, Reply)
it will not particularly interest you then
that my grandfather was one of the people who invented ReadyBrek
(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 14:10, Reply)
Isn't Readybrek like oatmeal but finer milled?

(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 14:12, Reply)
It's cheats porridge

milk and microwave ratehr than a stove with stirring
(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 14:13, Reply)
I make normal porridge in the microwave.

(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 14:14, Reply)
Fair enough, I always thought that was Ready Breks USP
I know somone that makes poached eggs in the microwave, they are rank.

EDIT: apologies for using the term USP I am a marketing wanker

Dude!
It will interest me!
When I was at the end of my tether in the hot spring of 2008, I sceptically applied a mixture of Ready Brek/honey/water to my hot red face, and instantly relaxed in its cooling and moisturising comfort!
(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 14:12, Reply)
Excellent!

(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 14:13, Reply)
Well this stuff might be the stuff for you!
All the Temple Spa stuff is made out of veg so there's nothing scary in it. Its amazing stuff and is really good for sensitive skin types etc, I love it!

One of my friends has really bad psoriasis and since she's been using this stuff its practically disappeared. I know its not the same thing but it might help you out!

Temple Spa have a website so you can have a snoop at their stuff and next time you pop over to mine and DiTs you have give my stuff a whirl if you like! :D

It's fucking superb.
(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 14:16, Reply)
This is in no way surprising for two reason:
1: It relates to old "proper music"
2: I have no idea who you're talking about
