She's mentioned on the third page of the article.
I heard it this morning and that was my first reaction, but according to this she wasn't diagnosed with the condition until the fifth baby died.

They don't mention whether the surviving kid was before or after the diagnosis, though.
Tricky one that - have a broken kid or none at all...

I'd say that enough was enough. That sort of heartbreak should never have to be endured.

I think adoption should be first on the list of people who can't conceive
rather than expensive IVF treatment and whatnot.

Obviously, I might feel different were I actually faced with the situation myself, but at the moment I think that if I couldn't conceive then adoption would be my next choice.

My wife and I conceived very easily
but we are still considering adoption. So many kids end up in foster homes moving about and not having a stable life. If we thought we would actually meet the rather strict criteria we would do it.

but you're right, they do seem so strict, that's why everyone is adopting Guatamalan babies and the like.
