Off to Cumbria for the weekend!
Also making my first ever trip over the border at some point. Not to Gretna.

That djtrialprice is 30 today. Being an incurable cougar, I'm supposed to drop him like a hot potato now he's no longer in his 20s. Should I give him a bit longer?
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 8:59, 3 replies, latest was 16 years ago)
Woo, Scotland!
If he doesn't feed you something deep fried every day you're here, ditch him.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:01, Reply)
Haha I'm not seeing him there.
He's near Aviemore, and we may be going to that bit near the Solway Firth.
It's Scotland for beginners.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:02, Reply)
The Solway Firth
is about 200 miles from Aviemore!
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:03, Reply)
He's going to Edinburgh at some point over that day anyway
I don't know where things are in Scotland.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:04, Reply)
Well, Aviemore's getting fairly far north, up the A9, towards Inverness.
The Solway Firth is the river on the bottom left, separating Scotland from the NW of England. And Edinburgh is half way down on the right hand side.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:16, Reply)
I've looked up the Solway Firth
and I gathered it would be near Cumbria, but the rest is still a bit of a mystery. I've always been a Wales person when I've needed hills and that.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:23, Reply)
Scotland's got a hilly bit in the south (the Southern Uplands)
a flattish bit in the middle (the Central Lowlands) and mountains in the north (the Highlands).
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:27, Reply)
I like your description
and how you have tailored it to the needs/abilities of the student
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:27, Reply)
The special needs
You forgot the word 'special'.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:31, Reply)
it crossed my mind
El cunto
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:32, Reply)
I feel insulted
Why are you coming up anyway?
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:32, Reply)
Because my friend said it'll be a pleasant drive if the weather's nice
I'll go with the flow because there's always food and booze at the end of these things.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:34, Reply)
Fair reasons all round
You could still have chosen a better weekend though. Like the one when I'm home.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:35, Reply)
Don't blame me

(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:40, Reply)
So this chap starts a new job, and the owner gives him a broom and says
"Just sweep out the storeroom".
"Do what?" says the chappie,"I'm a graduate".
"OK" says the owner,"give me the broom then, and I'll show you how."
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:35, Reply)
That's often how it is where I work.
Not when I was a graduate trainee though. I was brilliant.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:40, Reply)
You had them using dustpans by week two?

(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:46, Reply)
Scottish Geography 1.01
1.02 deals with cities. Edinburgh is in the middle on the right. Glasgow is on the middle on the left. Aberdeen is on the sticky out bit higher up on the right. Dundee's down a bit from Aberdeen. Stirling's right in the middle. And Inverness is up near the top.

Sorry if that's too much for one lesson.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:48, Reply)
I thought Aberdeen was at the top
I'm shit at this geography lark.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:51, Reply)
I always though Inverness was right at the very top
but it's not.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:53, Reply)
And I fort William was.

(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 10:41, Reply)
I suggest Google maps...

(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 10:55, Reply)
The Solway Firth
Is right down next to where I live.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:05, Reply)
Come say hi!
I'll be the one hopping over the border going "I'm in England... I'm in Scotland..." repeatedly.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:06, Reply)
Well I would
Except you've chosen a weekend I WON'T BE THERE to come up!
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:08, Reply)
You meff

(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:12, Reply)
I don't know what that is
But I'm offended with the plans for your visit anyway.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:15, Reply)
I'm stealing that insult.

(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:16, Reply)
Later on we could crack out "you ming" as well.

(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:20, Reply)
Can't wait.

(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:22, Reply)

Depends whether he's satisfying your incredible demands or not
If so, keep hold of him.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:01, Reply)
Why does everyone think I make incredible demands :P

(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:03, Reply)
You're a scouser
After last night it stands to reason you need some serious cheering up
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:06, Reply)
I'm a blue
My red friends and family have my sympathy, but I'm not brokenhearted.
Nice for Fulham last night as well!
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:07, Reply)
Yeah am well made up for Roy's boys
Glad they're not facing Liverpool in the final, they'll have more of a shot at winning it against a team who don't know how to play them
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:10, Reply)
God yes!
You have your reputation to think off. He's still ok for me though.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:07, Reply)
Haha
I'll pass him on when I'm done. But I'm not done yet...
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:10, Reply)
He'll be done shortly
if you wear him out.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:20, Reply)
Watch it, saucy
Besides, he's younger than me so surely I'll wear out first.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:24, Reply)
You'll not reach your sexual peak until you're about 40.
He'll be struggling to keep up by then.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:27, Reply)
We peak at FOURTY?
Rock on Tommy!
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:29, Reply)
Don't remind me : (
I'm sat at home all alone peaking like a thing possessed.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:31, Reply)
You're too fucking fussy you
I lowered my standards and have been pleasantly surprised.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:33, Reply)
I know but it's not looks that I'm fussy about.
It's personality.
(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:34, Reply)
So there really is no hope for me. Oh, cruel world.

(, Fri 30 Apr 2010, 9:38, Reply)
I know.
