Daughter of Lord Byron, Computer programmer, mathmatecal genius. Not many people realise how important she was to our understanding of computing. I guess that the general veiws people had of women at the time lead to her getting kinda sidelined.

I'm not sure this "doesn't get the recognition because she's a bird" belief is true. She's very well know, and I'm not sure I could name any other people in her field working at the same time?
