I used to be shit at sewing
I barely passed my Textiles GCSE, but now I can sew pretty well. It's not that hard really, the patterns you can buy make it all pretty simple, so you should definitely give it another chance.

EDIT: I don't have any free time because it is filled with sewing, dancing and studying. But those are three things that I enjoy, so I guess you could say I do them in my spare time. I also like to eat. I'm a fat person trapped inside a thin person's body.

sew all your tops to trousers to make it easier to decide what to wear.

(, Fri 7 May 2010, 16:18, Reply)
I don't have a problem deciding what to wear

Simplicity patterns are really good for beginners.

Wouldn't it be easier to buy one ready made?

(, Fri 7 May 2010, 16:22, Reply)

(, Fri 7 May 2010, 16:24, Reply)
Easy buy a velvet one and simply shave it

my boyfriend is weird about velvet
luckily for him I can't sew with it, the bastard stuff always moves.
(, Fri 7 May 2010, 16:26, Reply)
I think velvet is ugly.
I really don't know what my hangup is with it but I find it revolting.
(, Fri 7 May 2010, 16:28, Reply)
Wiggy hates touching it
he said it feels like spiders.
(, Fri 7 May 2010, 16:28, Reply)
I have a pair of velvet trousers somewhere.
Lots of people want to touch you when you wear velvet.
(, Fri 7 May 2010, 16:30, Reply)
