I shall keep it brief. sold my blown up motor, guys (3 of them, albanians though not sure if this is relevant) turned up, hassled me about price offered me 60 quid less than winning bid but got them to agree a compromise of 150 against the original 180. what is the correct action?

Almost this
Not negotiating down but sticking to the sell price and if they agreed to it in the end then neutral feedback detailing your experience and if they wouldn't then mega negative feedback, complaining to eBay and getting a free relisting as the first sale failed through no fault of yours.

winning bid=contract price.
if you felt menaced then get the feds involved cos=extortion or summat.

I assume the deal is done, cash changed hands and the motor is gone? Did you feel intimidated and therefore drop the price? If so, leave it alone, take the loss. They know where you live and for the sake of 30 quid you don't want to feel nervous in your home.

If you didn't feel intimidated then you shouldn't have dropped the price unless you agreed with their perspective, in which case you have nothing to complain about.
