I believe the Emile Ford original holds the record for the longest title that is a question to get to no 1 in the British single charts.
This is the stuff to impress girls with.
(, Tue 18 May 2010, 15:25, Reply)
Long title.
Quantum Jump - "The Lone Ranger (Taumata-whaka-tangi-hanga-kuayuwo tamate-aturipukaku-piki-maunga horonuku-pokaiawhen-uaka-tana-tahu mataku-atanganu-akawa-miki-tora)"
It wasn't a number one but I just wanted to mention it.
(PS Google says the bassist was in Caravan - well ride me sideways.)
(, Tue 18 May 2010, 15:31, Reply)
I don't like the song, or the band much
but the title is great
NOFX - We threw gasoline on the fire and now we have stumps for arms and no eyebrows
(, Tue 18 May 2010, 15:35, Reply)
I remember that song *laughs*

(, Tue 18 May 2010, 15:35, Reply)
I wish I hadn't posted it now.

The singer produced Howard Jones' early stuff, if I remember correctly.

(, Tue 18 May 2010, 15:51, Reply)
God I hated Howard Jones....
especially for that miming twat who was in the videos. As if his songs were not vile enough he had to go tormenting the deaf too.
(, Tue 18 May 2010, 15:57, Reply)
Aye,
my girlfriend of the time liked him and I took her to see him as a birthday surprise. It was around the time that "Like To Get To Know You Well" was released as a single and on the back of the tickets was printed "This ticket is sold on the express condition that the bearer gets to know well at least ten other members of the audience."
He may as well have put "Yes I am a cunt and you're right to hate me."
(, Tue 18 May 2010, 16:08, Reply)
That's the gayest thing I have ever heard.

(, Tue 18 May 2010, 16:14, Reply)
High praise indeed.

(, Tue 18 May 2010, 15:33, Reply)
Are you saying, after all the scorn that you have poured onto peoples musical taste
that you are a closet Shakin Stevens fan?

You may as well spell a post like Gonz.
(, Tue 18 May 2010, 15:33, Reply)
he's declared it proudly on more than one prior occasion

(, Tue 18 May 2010, 15:36, Reply)
Nowt wrong with Shaky, lad.
Did you know his first major gig was supporting the Stones in '69?

No, you did not.
(, Tue 18 May 2010, 15:40, Reply)
I bet you like the Stray Cats too.

(, Tue 18 May 2010, 15:50, Reply)
