My ears and liver have only just about recovered from
Dinosaur Jr on Monday. And band practice last night. Football and some minor drinking tonight. Relaxing night in tomorrow before a nice drive to the godless north west on Friday.

I was embarrassed by the Cambridge crowd
who just stood there barely moving, barely shouting/cheering. I mostly go watch bands in That Big London these days and their crowds know how to show appreciation.

That said, J Mascis still can't sing and needs to turn his guitar down (damn, it was loud) but he can play it like a demon. Stand in drummer was great, they were good value for it. Top night. I got drunked most awesomely.

Both times I went to see them they were terrible...
...and painful to listen to. Love their recorded stuff though.

I saw Dinosaur Jr years ago at Whitley Bay Ice Rink
They were supporting The Jesus and Mary Chain, Blur and My Bloody Valentine on the Rollercoaster tour, and were, frankly, a bit rubbish. Which disappointed me.
