that sounds like a song
it wasn't me that changed but you or something like that?
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 21:51, 1 reply, 16 years ago)
I don't know it
but I wouldn't be surprised.

I'd ask how you were, but it'd just mean you repeating what you wrote up there ^...

practical solutions saving the world again
other than the plague and my friend deafening me about her loser bf i am good though, work mental, amazing holiday coming up, blah blah. how about you, when is the big day??
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 21:56, Reply)
glad to hear it
most likely sometime in September 2011 as we are a bit strapped for cash at the moment (regrettably, so are both sets of parents)

we're considering the local botanical gardens as a venue. depends on whether we can sort our own food, or have to have their shit buffet though.
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:01, Reply)
and corkage
apparently lots of venues have cottoned on to this and won't let you bring your own boozes? in which case something like jugs and jugs of pimms is much better than champagne. or so my brother tells me, it is what they have picked for their wedding next year!
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:03, Reply)
sounds sensible
this place has a bar, so need to investigate the prices there, and see how much we should stick behind it to get everyone nicely sauced.
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:04, Reply)
£7465.87

(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:05, Reply)
If you're really skint then just invite a few people
but don't skimp on the booze. The most important thing in a wedding, apart from the nice bride, is the booze.

Hello you!
I haven't had a chance to make you an awesome picture yet, I'm really sorry. But I will get it done.
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:10, Reply)
I will look forward to it
and post something upsetting on FB if it doesn't appear.
Last night at the gig, there were lots of Dio shirts.
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:11, Reply)
I fell asleep listening to Last in Line last night.
I'm so sad that he's gone.
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:13, Reply)
Properly sad.
Poor little dude.
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:16, Reply)
good advice
we're not totally skint or anything, just not got wedding money sat around.

it's still really early days so plans could change entirely
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:08, Reply)
aye, ask if you can bring your own!
i agree with al, the bar is one of the most important bits. gardens sounds like a lovely setting, my friend had hers in the gardens in windsor last august, it was STUNNING!
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:07, Reply)
they might not let us do our own food
in which case it will be field, marquee and kegs of beer time.
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:09, Reply)
colleague is having a hog roast
at hers in a field up in staffordshire. it looks amazing, vegetarian though i am! you could do something like that if you are doing your own food?
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:10, Reply)
Hog Roasts are frickin amazing.

(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:13, Reply)
^ This
Also, mooch as much stuff off friends as possible, like marquees and barbeques. Plus, in a field, you don't have issues like having to be finished by certain times.
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:14, Reply)
the plan is for a variety of spit-roasted meats and salads
not going to be formal or anything
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:16, Reply)
you are having a spitroast at your wedding?
you too are a sick man!
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:18, Reply)
damn straight

(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:18, Reply)
Your wedding sounds awesome
I'm totally coming.
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:20, Reply)
you've got a year and a half to become worthy of invitation

(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:22, Reply)
Is that you laying
Down a challenge?
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:26, Reply)
He's a cheeky cunt
I've been worthy of an invite for a long time.
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:27, Reply)
that remains to be seen

(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:36, Reply)
Find someone with a field, you live in the country it shouldn't be hard
then organise your friends to have a massive BBQ.
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:11, Reply)
field bit isn't a problem
marquees aren't cheap though
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:15, Reply)
This is why you find friends that own these things already.

(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:16, Reply)
I don't know anyone with a marquee anywhere near big enough

(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:18, Reply)
You have friends that go to festivals
they must have tents. Use them.
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:20, Reply)
that probably isn't a solution that will work

(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:22, Reply)
Only invite small guests
Fucking Hell, do I have to think of everything?
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:25, Reply)
I like your way of thinking
and would like to subscribe to your newsletter
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:36, Reply)
This is easy, simply send me cheque for $1400
cover for advance transfer fees.
(, Wed 19 May 2010, 22:40, Reply)
This is the kind of
Out-of-the-box thinking that you need, beard man.
