hmmm.
Belleville Rendezvous (Also known as Les Triplettes de Belleville outside the UK), French film, but IIRC there's very little actual speaking in it, so it doesn't matter
Can't think of anything else off the top of my head

the film
about the cycling?
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 13:48, Reply)
Yup
It's been way too long since I last saw it, may have to dig it out when I go back home for the weekend

Ooh, another one!
The Hudsucker Proxy.
"you know, for kids!"

And anything by Mel Brooks, especially Young Frankenstein
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:00, Reply)
I couldn't get into the Hudsucker Proxy
it was just boring.

I love Mel Brooks' Men In Tights. And Blazing Saddles. Where the white women at?
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:08, Reply)
ANYthing?
Even Robin Hood: Men In Tights?

Even Life Stinks?

Even Dracula: Dead and Loving It?
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:11, Reply)
The top and bottom ones are brilliant!
Haven't seen the middle.

Dracula has Leslie Nielsen in it, what more could you want in a comedy?!
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:14, Reply)
Leslie Nielsen in a film with a decent script would be preferable
I accept your point in essence though, the man is a legend
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:21, Reply)
I loved it in Dracula
when the girls float out of the room and he tells them off so they scowl and stomp off in a very unladylike manner.
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:31, Reply)
Men In Tights still has it's funny bits

(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:19, Reply)
Name one
I dare you. I double dare you, motherfucker
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:21, Reply)
Right lads, let's get out of these ladies' clothes and into our tights!

(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:22, Reply)
A chastity belt?
that's going to chafe my willy!
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:32, Reply)
"We're men, manly men, we're men in tights, yes'

(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:31, Reply)
Meh
It's no "A Hospital? What is it?" if you're honest
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:32, Reply)
Oh, no chance
Airplane is fantastic. But still inferior to either Blazing Saddles or Young Frankenstein
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:43, Reply)
Werewolf!
"there wolf, there castle"
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:49, Reply)
I respectfully disagree
Whilst conceding that Mel Brooks has made some decent films
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:51, Reply)
Belleville Rendez-Vous
Fucking incredible.

Spirited Away, too. I bunch them togetehr as I saw them at similar times
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:19, Reply)
Spirited Away is fantastic
As is Howls Moving Castle
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:44, Reply)
Most Studio Ghibli is fantastic

(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:45, Reply)
I need to see more
I think I've seen 3 of them. Howl's Moving Castle, Return of the Cat, and Spirited Away
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:49, Reply)
I want to see grave of the fireflies
but I'll end up killing myself
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:51, Reply)
It's terrifyingly sad
Should all watch The Cat Returns though. Fantastic and really sweet
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:54, Reply)
I've seen Kiki's Delivery Service
Howl's Moving Castle
Spirited Away

I think that's it :/
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 14:59, Reply)
Apart from those which have already been cited
Princess Mononoke is bloody brilliant
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 15:00, Reply)
Another on my mental list to watch
