My real name is of French and Hebrew origin.
And means 'who resembles God'.

Better than 'who resembles Zeus,' I guess

My real name is from the Romans

Well, they give me 1 star only
and they have the meaning wrong, very wrong.

I don't like my name anyway, I'd give it half a star if it hadn't go it in my grandma's honour.
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 15:40, Reply)
I don't really like my name either
they don't even list my Gran's name
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 15:44, Reply)
Well, think about it
You could be called Eunice.
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 15:46, Reply)
haha good point

(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 15:49, Reply)
My name means Grace
and got two stars :(
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 15:58, Reply)
Well, it only gives my real name 3/5
But it does apparently mean "Wolf Council." AWESOME.

Oddly enough, there's an entry for "Crow." 2/5, origin English...meaning: "Crow." Oddly enough...
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 16:02, Reply)
Wolf council!
cool

I'm not surprised some people named their babies crow. I'm surprised it's so highly rated.
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 16:14, Reply)
Knowing this, of course,
If I ever have a daughter she's definitely going to be named "Crowsephine."1

That's a lovely girl's name
And suits the little brat perfectly.
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 16:21, Reply)
I have no idea whether my hypothetical daughter will be a little brat.
I will, however, require some sort of corvid pun on standby in case my hypothetical wife squeezes out a boy. Possibly Jack(daw). Or Rooky.

Eunice got three stars wtf

(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 15:36, Reply)
Eunice?
That name is awful, and sounds like if she was a boy and you sorted that out by chopping some bits.
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 15:38, Reply)
I only got 2 stars and I'm like God ffs.

(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 15:39, Reply)
Those people not know nothing
Bah! I like your name.
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 15:40, Reply)
I'd like yours more if I could pronounce it properly : )

(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 15:41, Reply)
You can use the short version
It's a lot easier and I prefer it too.
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 15:47, Reply)
Alexander only has 1 star

(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 15:40, Reply)

I like Alexander.

I like Hector very much, but I've been told it sounds foolish in English.

Birthname is "pure"
Pseudonym is "gift of God"

Both are WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 16:13, Reply)
If memory serves, you share a birthname with my sister
My folks obviously didn't look our names up before they chose them.
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 16:19, Reply)
My birthname is 4 letters long- it's not a contracted version.
No middle name either. I got landed with a shit name.

I like your name, even if it does sound like a euphemism for being loudly sick.
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 16:21, Reply)
It does.
But the meaning's pretty cool.

My sister's name is an abbreviation...though apparently the full form is Greek in origin. Still means 'pure,' though.
(, Wed 9 Jun 2010, 16:25, Reply)
I didn't know the meaning of yours
Oooh, in my shop today they had a large model crow. I saw it and thought of you, especially as it was covered in spangly jewelry.

I looked it up on Wiki- apparently the meaning is debated, and might come from one of my favourite goddesses. Which makes me like it a little more. κάθερος is certainly more likely thought.
