Oh, yeah', I suppose that would be best.
Do you fill the bath up first? And if you do, do you use a hot bath? I can imagine that would amplify the smell a bit, not sure if that's a good thing or not.

That is the joy of the drop-sheet.
Use masking tape to hold it down. When finished remove tape, fold and dispose.
(If in a Premier Inn just leave at foot of the bed - they are used to that sort of thing and know how to deal with a 'Code-Brown' as it is known in the hotel industry.)
