she's shit
women who are rubbish at acting are immediately less attractive.

a la Megan Fox.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:33, 2 replies, latest was 16 years ago)
I find Megan Fox quite sexy
But then, I've never seen her acting, so maybe that's why.

I haven't seen Miley acting either, just singing, and she's ok.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:36, Reply)
I saw a photoshoot of her recently
And realised that as a sum of all parts, she's lovely.

But if you look at her face when it's not shown with her body, it ain't that great. I still do like her arse though, woo!
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:38, Reply)
She is beautiful, but she's so shit that it annoys me.
There must be so many talented actresses out there that it seems such a waste.

Plus none of what makes her beautiful is real. She has fake eyelashes, contact lenses, lip injections, a nose job, cheekbone implants, a boob job and hair extensions.

and she has weird thumbs

(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:44, Reply)
haha yeah she has club thumb doesn't she?
Surprised she hasn't had surgery to sort it out.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:46, Reply)
Oh, I didn't know all that
I think she looks pretier before.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:47, Reply)
she looked average before
and now she looks like every other daft hollywood bint who has stuffed her face full of fake shit.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:48, Reply)
She had beautiful eyes
and a nice smile. Now she can't smile.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:50, Reply)
I think her eyes are a bit weird really

(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:52, Reply)
It's a shame that that's all she's going to be hired for, so when she gets a bit older no one will employ her
She looks like a stripper now, it's horrible.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:53, Reply)
^ this
she looks like a Barbie doll. She's not yet quite as bad as Katie Price though.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:27, Reply)
totally agree
Emma Watson is attractive, but she is so shit at acting...
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:38, Reply)
Don't care
*drools*
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:39, Reply)
Oh, c'mon
she's not so bad, is she?
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:47, Reply)
she's awful
Daniel Radcliffe is as well

I think it is something to do with the Harry Potter films. It makes even good actors look shit (Alan Rickman) and non-actors look terrible (most of the kids). The only people who manage to avoid the curse are Michael Gambon and Gary Oldman, and that just serves to highlight how awful everyone else is.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:49, Reply)
Well, I don't think they're so bad
They aren't brilliant, but they aren't dreadful either.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:50, Reply)
Nah, I really like Alan Rickman as Snape
There's no one else who could play it better
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:51, Reply)
Tim Roth was the perfect choice for Snape

(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:52, Reply)
Nah, even when reading the books I saw Rickman playing it

(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:55, Reply)
he should be good
but I find his performance kind of weird. I think Tim Roth could have played a slimier, nastier version, which is what was called for.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:57, Reply)
I wanted Jeremy Irons to play Sirius

(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:00, Reply)
Gary Oldman did a good job though
I've seen a couple of recentish Jeremy Irons things and he was awful.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:02, Reply)
I don't think Jeremy Irons will ever play a better part than he did in The Colour Of Magic
That role was made for him
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:02, Reply)
Danny the Champion of the World

(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:03, Reply)
While it is a good film
I just can't see him ever uttering a line better than "And what are we going to do with you, you little scamp?" to someone 8 years older than him
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:08, Reply)
I have to admit that I didn't watch the Colour of Magic
largely because I thought that David Jason was a shit choice for Rincewind.

I can't imagine Jeremy Irons as the Patrician either. Charles Dance, who played him in Going Postal was excellent
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:18, Reply)
I'd say watch it, I think it's the best one so far

(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:23, Reply)
I'll give it a go
cheers
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:32, Reply)
Plus, Death is voiced by Christopher Lee
In possibly the best casting idea of all time
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:35, Reply)
Die Hard With A Vengeance

(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:12, Reply)
hello?!
LION KING
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:31, Reply)
Oh yes.
Also, Dead Ringers.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:42, Reply)
I kind of agree with you here but...
I do think it's a good way for kids to be exposed to some brilliant actors like Rickman, Gambon, Coltrane, Oldman etc as they might go and check out some of there other work. Plus Hermione has turned into a walking prison sentence.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:52, Reply)
you are right about it being a good way to get in contact with them
I can't help but compare them to the kids in the Narnia films who are much more natural. I think that's the problem, the ones in Harry Potter seem much more like they are acting.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:53, Reply)
they were only picked because they looked like the characters in the book
which is a shame because the acting is so much more important.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:00, Reply)
yeah totally

(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:00, Reply)
apparently the guys who played the Weasley twins
had to dye their blonde hair ginger. I would be so worried it wouldn't go back.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:02, Reply)
hahaha

(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:03, Reply)
Helena Bonham Carter was good
and I thought Malfoy got increasingly better as he got older.

Plus, fit.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:53, Reply)
There were some who were good
I forgot Robbie Coltrane, and Helena Bonham Carter is always good (we don't talk about Planet of the Apes)
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:54, Reply)
Talking of HBC
I watched the new Alice in Wonderland last night. Cause of the bad reviews I wanted to wait until the hype had died done and I loved it. I was expecting to hate it but found myself loving it. Could have been due to the spain germany excitement as well though.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:56, Reply)
I really enjoyed it as well
I reckon it'd have been better if I hadn't seen it in 3D.

I love the books and enjoy other people's take on the characters and the land.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:57, Reply)
my favourite book as a kid
twas Alice and is the only book ive downloaded onto my phone. Its pretty cool having an ireader on your mobile. I didnt watch it in 3d, have yet to experience that medium, am dreading dissapointment.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:00, Reply)
I wouldn't bother with 3D
Avatar was cool in 3D as a novelty, but even in that the 3D didn't make it like looking across a room, it looked like a bunch of seperate layers at different distances.

Not worth the extra money or the extra blurriness on the things at the edge of focus in my opinion.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:01, Reply)
I really wanted to love it because I love Tim Burton's work
but I just thought it was really boring and I didn't care about any of the characters, so the end battle scene was redundant because I didn't care who won.

I did make a replica of Alice's red dress though because it was so pretty.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 9:59, Reply)
Which dress??
I liked the one Depp made her in the teapot.
(, Thu 8 Jul 2010, 10:00, Reply)
It was the one the queen made her out of curtains
