Happy days.
I've turned 30 today which I have finally resigned myself to, and I now have 10 days before I go to work again so I'm having a trek back to Scotland for family times.
Also, over the last 10 days a chance meeting where a pretty lady smiled at me on the train home from work has developed into us saying hello, then having a few nice conversations, and tonight we've swapped numbers and we're going out for a couple of drinks.

I just bought a whole crispy duck and 18 pancakes for 75p in Asda.
Along with three steaks. Total cost, £1.60.

I narrowly missed out on the 50p giant chicken
and 8 pork chops for 30p. Curse my aging bones for not being fast enough. And also the uber chav that was hanging around on the shop monkey's tail like a lovebite on a chavette's neck.

I have been making gingerbread men
well one gingerbread alien and some round things, since it's really hard to make things without a cutter.

I'm entirely bemused on this one
When I saw her smile at me the first time I immediately checked that my fly wasn't open. Even if it doesn't get romantic, still made a nice friend, she's lovely.
