Hooray, new job offer
I've just been telephoned with a new job offer, which was unexpected as I didn't feel the interview had gone that well. I'm glad because I was on my way to another interview at the time, however this place is something like 10 times the distance from home and harder to get to. So I don't have to go to this interview, meaning afternoon off!

What things have cheered you up today?

Alt Q: eggs- scrambled or fried?

The guy I work with texting me telling me not to bother coming to the office 'cos he woke up pissed
which was handy 'cos I also woke up pissed

Congratulations
My supervisor's not coming in today so I don't have to have a meeting now and can have lunch instead.

Alt A: Depends on the mood I'm in. I'm currently going through a scrambled phase.

I'm all about the scrambled at the moment
but I haven't had a fried egg in ages so now I quite want one.

I did have a McEgg recently, but they really aren't eggs anymore by that point.

The question should really be
boiled or poached?
(, Mon 12 Jul 2010, 12:28, Reply)
there's a heart shaped poacher thing in Sainsbury's
I want it so Wiggy can make me romantic breakfasts.

Scrambled

omelette
or scrambled if quite well done.

eggs make me reeeeally squeamish otherwise. i mean, boiled eggwhite is literally the physical embodiment of retching. and raw it just looks like jizz.
(, Mon 12 Jul 2010, 12:54, Reply)
Do you mean girljizz?
It looks a bit like girljizz but not like blokejizz.
(, Mon 12 Jul 2010, 12:58, Reply)
I make excellent omelettes,
it is quite literally my best feature.
(, Mon 12 Jul 2010, 13:00, Reply)
Runny yolks, solid whites, it's an art form.
But I swear, I swear to god, if you break my yolk with a chip, they'll be hell on.

(, Mon 12 Jul 2010, 12:57, Reply)
Now _this_ is the best use of eggs.
Swimming in mayple syrup with some strawberrys on the side.

I once invented The Italian Fry Up, it was ace.
I made baked beens, scrambled egg, saussages, bacon and pasta, and mixed it all up.

Nothing has really cheered me up today, but I went to Cockfosters before and I was all like "I'm going to buy a posh chicken from the butchers", I was really happy about that, but I saw the bus coming and pegged it to the stop and now I realise I have no chicken. I suppose I could always go get a chicken from Marks, but then I can't be all like "I'm supporting local buisnesses and shunning big names". o0o0o0o0o, I could have gotten some calv's liver, I like calv's liver. Oh well, it's to late now, dark troubling times. sad face.
