Oh, how my estimations of you have gone down, Amberl
Down so far.

they can't have been high surely?
I'll be gentle with them. I'm far more cut out for the being nice and friendly, than sharking them sadly :(

I find that
If I estimate everyone high to start with, it's just easier in the long run. You're well on your way down now though.
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 22:54, Reply)
I'm sure the people who've met me
could testify I'm not the sharking sort
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 22:56, Reply)
I've not met you
And I've not met any of them. Judging shall therefore continue on my own estimations.

Some what now?
I'm so out of touch with the youth of today

what are pangos?

fantastic drinks
sold at Hertford college. I think they legally have to sell them in two different glasses now. Loads of different alcohol (archers, vodka, gin and something else- about eight shots worth) layered with fruit juice and topped up with juice. Tastes like fruit juice at the beginning and pure sin at the bottom, but you don't notice the transition. Most I've ever managed is two

sounds perfect

Damn, I need to make some friends at Hertford

(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 22:58, Reply)
Saw one of my grandparents only 3/4 times in the last couple years
No idea who the other one is. Might be the same guy, college marriages can get a bit like Norfolk sometimes
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:00, Reply)
haha my favourite
was the college brother and sister who were balloted together in second year
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:01, Reply)
It did take me a while to notice that the friend of a friend I'd not seen around all that much
was his ACTUAL brother who went to a different college, not his college brother who spent a lot of time in his room
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:04, Reply)
I treated my college kids badly
oops. I'll make it up with the grandkids.
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:05, Reply)
One of mine never turned up
I forgot to get carnations (non-oxford people: carnations are traditionally worn for exams, white for the first, pink for the ones in the middle, red for the last), and my general response to being asked to help with some work by my physics kid was "I don't know it either!"
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:07, Reply)
my kids were sweet
but I was under stress most of the year, and they did none of the same modules so I couldn't pass on work
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:09, Reply)
There go the estimations downwards a bit further
