the thing I'm making might be lentil loaf. It might also be a mess

Ace, doesn't sound like my cup of tea, but I really do hope you enjoy =)

it's most likely to be a mess
I can't cook and have no recipe

Heh, oh well, worst comes to it, won't be the last bad thing you've made, just put it all down to experment.

so I now have a messy gloop of lentils and vegis
do you reckon it should be in the oven on a low medium or high heat? In degrees C please

You probably, and this is just a guess, need some sort of binding agent, such as egg and flower, not sure what exactly as it's a bit late in the day to add it.
Could try it in a low, around 160-180 for an hour...and then put it up for 10 minutes at the end to 200-210.

That's all guess work though without looking at it, is it doable to call it something else from loaf, like [ermm, I donno] "Lentle Rissotto" ?

over an hour!
damn, I should have started this earlier. I've put some breadcrumbs in in the hope of making it more loafy. Might end up eating my own toes before it's cooked, though

It's just a guess, I ain't really worked with lentals before.
Are you a veggy/in the company of veggies?
(, Mon 26 Jul 2010, 21:30, Reply)
no
but I remember a vegi housemate making it once many years ago and it was nice. I reckon I could put it in the freezer and have food all week. Food that includes VITAMINS

Coolio, sometimes I prefer veggie food too, such as with Pizza and Pasta.
