Hey folks.
i have a question.
do any of you lovely internet entities travel in your more mundane corporeal form from brighton to london and back in a commutey type fashion for work? it's looming on the horizon, i'm wondering, what's the craic? will it drive me mad as a bag of wasps? will i leave the house at some ungodly hour and return at an even more ungodly one? will i find myself leaving for work before i arrive home? i've done the maths and it kinda computes, so that's fine.. i'm more wondering about the actual travelling time.

Clearly neither was overly pleasant. The trip on the train cost about £24. On the road, maybe half that. Dirty bastards.

might well do
i mean in an IDEAL world, i'd sashay into a design job in brighton, like i owned the place. in the real world, i'd get laughed out of interviews and should be grateful for the incredible luck that's landed me a half decent design job i'm in now. if only it wasn't in fuckin west acton.

Swansea to Cardiff for a while - commuting sucks, I'd avoid it

It's pretty grim - the journey time isn't too bad but the trains are always heaving at peak times, I am told.

does the train have windscreen wipers on the inside....?

i hear hull's nice too.
everyfuckinwhere's nicer than reading. london prices, but fuck all to do that doesn't involve chain pubs, relentless shit music, and drunk fighty chavvers. including the festival.

purely for when an Asian cab driver went to me and my mate "don't try doing a runner lads, this place is Curry Town and we'll get you".

but I know a few who have. Apparantly the run into Victoria / London Bridge is fine so the question is how will the travel be once you get into town.

Have a train service from London to Brighton - train times here:

They can be quite unreliable unfortunately...
