I used to do that!
I'd want to read by the fire because it was warm but they'd have the telly on. I don't get people who listen to music whilst reading though, it's so distracting. That's why it makes me angry when you can hear people's music on trains, it really cuts into your thoughts.

I hate people asking what the book is about. WHY DOES IT MATTER?!

I never ask a reader what their book's about
Because I don't care.

This is why I don't ask people how they are either.

I can't read with music on
I couldn't revise to music either. Apparently Stephen King writes with loud rock music on in the background. Freak.

I can read with the right music
I listened to Crack The Skye last time, as that's pretty good for background music

A past girlfriend of mine would revise to the "Gladiator" soundtrack
she said it was easy to tune out.

You know what's easier to tune out? SILENCE you silly bint (Is what I never said)

I checked Amazon for a release date on Conn Igguldons 4th Khan book. None as yet. It's going to be called "Empire of Silver".

It better be good after all this hype.*
* I am of course referring to the book rather than your dangerwank.

I love listening to music whilst reading
was doing it earlier. I then like how you hear an album or a song years later and you remember the book. Whenever I hear the cardigans album Gran Turismo it makes me think of two Gemmell books. Ace.

This lunchtime I have read the new Empire. Expendables gets 3 stars.
