The holiday yes, the travelling no.

but travelling is ACE!
I love travelling! the journey is half the fun!

I hate flying.
I'm claustraphobic. I hate being trapped in a small space with a load of people.
(, Tue 10 Aug 2010, 8:32, Reply)
well that's fair enough.
If I'm honest, I hate planes too. I'm afraid of heights.
(, Tue 10 Aug 2010, 8:33, Reply)
I don't like heights
but I love flying. It's ladders, cliffs and the like that give me the willies. 36000 feet in an aeroplane is no problem. 6 feet up a ladder and I'm shaking like a shitting dog.

Plus I can never get comfortable sitting in a plane.
It's just an annoying experience all round.
(, Tue 10 Aug 2010, 8:43, Reply)
There is that.
I can't sleep sitting up, so the journey is a bit uncomfortable. But that's outweighed by the positive aspect, i.e. the excitement of going away somewhere.

I'm driving this year though, so it's not an issue.
(, Tue 10 Aug 2010, 8:44, Reply)
I know a cure for that
sleeping sitting up isn't that hard with the right preparation.

^this
I love flying, my father designed bits of planes and his brother was a test pilot at one time.

However all of us share a very healthy fear of climbing ladders or multi-storey car parks.

Crow's Travel Advice:
Make sure you turn up to the airport on the right day.

Haha!
Silly Crow.

I have my flight days in highlighter and permanent marker EVERYWHERE.

Dozy Crowsie...

I had a friend who booked turned up and flew to the holiday destination.
In the wrong month.
(, Tue 10 Aug 2010, 8:59, Reply)
That's pretty good going
I only turned up 24 hours early and they wouldn't let me fly.
