I feel bad about the boy, but appart from that problem, the guy was a bit boring. Her birthday was on Thursday and he had loads of presents for her, but didn't have the opportunity to give them to her before Saturday, because, well... you know, he had to have a nap on Thursday, was tired on Friday, didn't have time during the day on Saturday... it was a bit sad.
And good morning sir, are you doing ok?

maybe he does have something wrong with him, if he's that tired all the time and is having downstairs problems.

I couldn't believe it when my cousin was telling me. Then when she broke up with him, aparently, he got on fire and showed all the passion that he hasn't for 3 months, but she couldn't care anymore, and ask him to give all the presents back and recover his money.

when she broke up with him? Maybe she should have threatened to do it earlier and he might have woken up to himself. Sounds like more of a psychological problem than a physical one.
I'm well, thanks Aberracion. And fully functioning in the downstairs department, not that you ever needed to know that. :-)

it's good to know it.
She had told him several times that things had to change or she wouldn't stay with him. On Sat she was completely fed up with him.

to feel excitement. I have some friends like that, they're always arguing and snapping at each other, but they insist that they're very much in love, it's weird.

I know a couple like that. I find very stressing to go out with them.

it seems a bit dysfunctional to be "in love" but at each others throats all the time!

I had a boyfriend like that. It lasted 2 months and I've never been so depressed. I thought I was doing something wrong all the time, until I realize he was just nuts.

Wiggy and I rarely fight and when we do it's not something I look forward to!

although since they've been married they seem to have calmed down a bit. But before that they'd have some serious fights!
(, Tue 24 Aug 2010, 8:48, Reply)
seems odd to me, as I've never had an argument with a girlfriend

Wiggy has just replaced a guy at work who's been signed off with stress and I said "oh but what if you catch it too?" and he just laughed and pointed out that he's not a likely candidate for stress.

so there's no point arguing ;-)
I do get stressed, but not much and it doesn't last long. If I get particularly stressed I'll quietly freak out for an hour or so and then get on with it.

the last time I had a stand up row with anyone, would probably have been with my sister. I'm a bit of a doormat and can't think of an argument I have had with a partner
