Alt: £20 of Oyster card. I'm also contemplating bidding on a beautiful pair of shoes that might take me over £20. But they're Irregular Choice. And flat. And pretty. And NEW

They were gorgeous, metallic green. But it's ended now.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 13:54, Reply)
mine too. They sound very pretty, but I just don't go out enough to warrant pretty shoes.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 13:59, Reply)
It's pretty. Not sure what the point is, to be honest.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:01, Reply)
Although it's not as annoying as being bid sniped with 3 seconds to go and losing by 20p or something equally ridiculous.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:04, Reply)
anyway. Too expensive- starting bid 200
edit: oops forgot to say what it was *awaits torrent of abuse* it's a vintage wolf fur coat
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:04, Reply)
Is it not enough that you like the pope that you have to like real fur too.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:17, Reply)
right down to my bones. My face deceives people into thinking I'm nice and sweet
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:20, Reply)
everyone tells me I look like I'm a nice person. Then inside I'm pure undiluted concentrated evil. I wear fur, I think the Pope isn't a paedophile and I *whispers* vote conservative
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:23, Reply)
and they should definitely come round to mine for the night
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:32, Reply)
I'm actually very liberal in most ways I promise, but what's the world without the spice of variety
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:38, Reply)
The wolf would be dead from old age, so no harm done.
Have I missed another point?
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:17, Reply)
is just asking to have paint thrown on you by militant PETA-type people?
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:17, Reply)
on an expensive coat, I wouldn't be held liable for what I threw at them. Probably shit
/gets angry at PETA
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:20, Reply)
I bet you'd look the business in a wolf fur coat.

and my mother on my requesting funding for a wolf fur coat looked at me as though she pitied my mental handicap, and wondered what she'd smoked in her pregnancy
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:28, Reply)
I think having no money is making me want to spend it on more ridiculous things too.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:35, Reply)
thinking I'm mentally retarded I didn't help my case by pointing out it had been used and therefore wasn't like I'd skinned a wolf myself. Though I shot myself in the foot by claiming two previous owners- the seller and the wolf
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:37, Reply)
they have the hips for it. Great figures
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:40, Reply)
if it makes you feel better I rarely wear fur. It's not my style, I'm not skinny enough to wear either fake or real fur. I see no problem with vintage stuff though- the animal is already dead
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:47, Reply)
The animal is already dead.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:52, Reply)
it's fucking lovely.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:54, Reply)
but vintage ones should be enjoyed, otherwise it makes it even worse that they were killed.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:48, Reply)
It was originally killed to make a fashion item and to keep wearing it as a fashion item would be wrong regardless of how old it is.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:50, Reply)
I can't quite explain my view on this, but it's pretty much: it already exists, so it should be used.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:56, Reply)
this, it's my favourite jewelry designer.
Though this and this are my dream pieces.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:06, Reply)
I don't really wear jewellery can never find stuff to suit
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:08, Reply)
They're quite pricey, but very nice. I have this in sparkly black and want this from the new collection.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:13, Reply)
you can't go wrong with jeans and a tshirt. Everything else is just too much effort for everyday.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:15, Reply)
I do have a pair of very convincing jeggings, but obviously i wear them with dresses.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:17, Reply)
I only generally wear necklaces, my Cameo ring is usually enough of a statement and I am scared of losing brooches.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:16, Reply)
I mean if I dress up I'll look for a necklace, but I don't have any natural affinity with accessories :(
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:18, Reply)
They're only black, but very cute.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:11, Reply)
Though actually I've toned that down recently.

one of the few times when I can't tell if Mrs V will like something or not. Turns out the answer was no.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:32, Reply)
They sold for £35 inc postage, probably wouldn't have got that far.
Might get these

but with a stainless steel heel
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:00, Reply)
I have a pair of blue suede ones with a metallic heel, but it's plastic and fairly cheap looking. They're nice though. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
My shoes are generally Office, DMs or Irregular Choice, but I'm not sure if any of them do those.
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:04, Reply)
in a nicer colour, which she picked up for £35 which was nice.
and thanks :-)
she wants some exciting shoes/boots for the wedding. I think a pair of sky blue boots with a massive shiny heel will be the way to go
(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 14:05, Reply)
these. They're comfy and sexy.
Sky blue with shiny heels sound incredibly sexy. Go for it. What colour is her dress?
