Why not put a clause in that says..
'Unless you stop behaving like children you'll have to have a fight wearing the pink boxing gloves'
That might lighten the mood a bit.

i don't get to draft the clauses, you see. it only comes to me when it goes Wrong!

it has spent about £1.5M on the building and every other tenant has paid it. these jokers are sitting there with the benefit of the brand new air con and decor and lifts but refusing to pay for it.
they will be sued. oh yes. they will be sued.

it's interesting but terribly stressful. normally i wouldn't go to court for something like this, i'd just send the bailiffs in to take their stuff or stat demand them first, but for various technical legal reasons, can't do that here.

With a bit of 'send in the heavies' for good measure.
If you like using bailiffs, have a gander at Operation Repo on YouTube. Nothing but professional these lads. Hell no.

i will do! always looking for new heavies to frighten away squatters and debtors... the more unprofessional the better...

of the closing credits of "brush strokes" where he is painting the wall.
and the theme tune was dexy's midnight runners singing "because of you". i fucking love that song. if i ever marry some unfortunate that will be our first dance!

ok i'll put it in the possibly a bad omen pile.
of course, first i have to find a halfway decent bloke, then i can worry about what song to dance to at the wedding.

You can add any indie classic to the list as well.
All I can say, is make sure any future husband is nothing like my ex wife.

or would you like to do it again someday?

However. That could well change, subject to meeting the right person, and using the wisdom from the first experience.
What I got isn't what I signed up for. That was one of the most difficult things to cope with.

but then you know that, i guess it's just about waiting to feel ready to try it again

Was the person who I'd fallen in love with to be fundamentally the same when we were married. Yes, both of us would change over time, get a bit older and a bit wiser and all that sort of thing, but core values were, I thought, fixed.
Turns out, people can change. And change quite a lot.
We were probably too young when we got married. Maybe that was it.

until you split up. some of the things i see when couples have split up and are dividing property is enough to make you swear off the opposite sex forever.
so long as it hasn't made you too scarred though. the next one will be different.

But seeing just how easily the last marriage fell apart - despite a number of proper goes at sorting things out and getting everything on an even keel - makes me wonder if life isn't easier with the 'being able to just walk away option' still in place.
It would have saved a few years of misery as we could have drawn a line under everything, rather than hoping the fact we'd got married made things worth persevering with.
I wouldn't have had those last 2 years with a 'girl friend' I'd have ended the relationship long before that.
Cynical? Just a bit.

is why a lot of people don't bother with it, i think you're absolutely right.

You put on a grey wig and shout 'overrulled!'
(Yes, I know you're not a Judge).
Why would you say that though? What makes you think you're unbearable?
