... only instead of being profitable and successfull, I squander the entire money over a month, maybe two.
Today at 3 I over wrote my development folder and lost the entire weekend's work, and swore really loudly, I actually threw a can at a wall in anger, I've never done that before. By 18:00 I had re-written it all; as most of it was learning how to do shit, so it wasn't that big of a deal, in fact, it got rid of all my crappy "WTF? Does this do? How the fuck?" comments all over the place. I'll get it finished by the time the recruitment guy goes into work tomorow.
I've also made a whicked crab pasta with smoked garlic, chillis, chives, parsley, seasoning, spring onions, fresh (but not home made) pasta, double cream and...ermmm.... crab (fresh 'dressed' crab from the fishmonger's, a mix of white and brown meet).
It's soo lush, I think I'm actually going to finish this one, I normally don't even eat half of what I cook.
God, it's a crime that people like Al are living in matial bliss and I'm stuck in the bargin bin.

I totally agree with your parent's stance to give you some of your potential inheritance when they can see you enjoy it and set you up....This has happened to a a few friends, and to myself in some extent.
I think when I have kids, and I'm in my later years, I'd like to see them set up in a good way before I cark it... and in a lot of ways (as with the majority of people these days), that would _only_ happen with a major cash injection. I'm not saying that's true for people, like some doctors/bankers/entraponours/etc and all that, but it does hold true for most people.
