i've never worked anywhere that
allows music at work.

or casual dress-down. when we have genes for jeans day, the whole office comes in its pants. i'd happily pay £100 a week to wear jeans every friday!

The majority of my day is spent audio typing
so multitasking with music would kind of hinder that.

might improve it
what you are typing, not your actual typing skills, i mean!

If I accidentally listen to conversation outside of the dictation
and I'm not concentrating I sometimes type what someone has said so that could well happen!

i do that all the time
when on the phone - i write random words from the conversation all over my notepad and doodle them. usually it's things like "overage" and "specificity" but if i'm gossiping it can be foolish to leave it lying around.

haha I do that too, I write things from the conversation that seem like they're important
but then when it comes to relaying the message later obviously it makes fuck all sense whatsoever.

But women in pencil skirts and white shirts look hot.

(, Thu 14 Oct 2010, 9:54, Reply)
this is true
as long as they are reasonably hot to start with
(, Thu 14 Oct 2010, 9:56, Reply)
it is a good look
although i also quite like flippy little skirts as well with a jacket

I do the reverse of dress-down Friday.
It's called Frocky Friday and I wear heels and nice dresses and stff. Why should Friday be scruffy? (Unless you HAVE to be smart all the time.)
We don't have a dress code here but I've never been comfortable dressing casual so I'm generally in skirts/dresses and sometimes smart kecks.
