I remember the first episode I watched with some girls who absolutely loved it
and they insisted I would be instantly converted. In the episode Carrie saw Big going to church with his mother so she asked if she could go with but he said it was something he wanted to keep between him and his family. So she turns up at the church the next week anyway and sneaks in, but he sees her. I was like "what a fucking bitch, he says he wants to keep it private and she just turns up anyway?!" and all the girls were like "OMG no wai, she just wants to be a part of his life blah blah blah". Pissed me off.
