Chainy.
There is no one around.

Be naughty. Start a footy thread! :)

Could do!
but I'm just watching the highlights of last nights cup match and then I'm off to bed, so it wouldn't be fair.
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:44, Reply)
No, don't
football is rubbish. I made stroganoff for tea, too!
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:44, Reply)
I like stroganoff.
Did you have it with rice and spuds?
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:46, Reply)
Nope, just on it's own
didn't have any potatoes and couldn't be arsed faffing about with rice.
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:49, Reply)
Did you have a Yorkshire pudding to hold it all in?

(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:52, Reply)
Nope
just on it's own. Who the hell eats stroganoff with a yorkshire??
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:53, Reply)
Me.

(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:54, Reply)
Ooh, that'd work
I might get some ready-prepared ones and do it for this and for my next curry.
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:54, Reply)
Curry and yorkshire pudding?!
YOU'RE ALL WEIRD!
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:56, Reply)
Carbs are carbs
I rarely eat potato these days, I either have rice or noodles or just veg.
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:57, Reply)
Weird
I did Delia's 3 mustard stroganoff although I used double cream instead of creme fraiche, pork loin steak instead of tenderloin, paprika instead of english mustard powder, and I supplemented not enough onion with some leek. Oh, and I added some chopped garlic too.

Edit: had mine with some 2 minute microwave noodles. Delish.
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:48, Reply)
Looks pretty good
I thought paprika was an essential ingredient in stroganoff though? I had chicken in mine.
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:50, Reply)
Me too, that's why I use it
but this relies on the mustard for heat. I basically halve the ingredients except for the mustard to make it for one.
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:53, Reply)
NO!
I'm still around - but not for much longer - and vegball is shite.

Cricket thread and I'm in.
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:45, Reply)
We could discuss the Duckworth Lewis method?

(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:46, Reply)
Something that I understand
Glorified by Neil Hannon too.

Boycott is a cunt and must die uncomfortably quite soon.
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:49, Reply)
I quite liked hat Neil Hannon album too.

(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:50, Reply)
I haven't given it a listen
but he has written some lovely songs.
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:54, Reply)
He has that.

(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:55, Reply)
cricket and that bloody awful band
two of the worse curses on this land
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:54, Reply)
You've cheered up then.

(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:54, Reply)
yeah, I'm a laugh a minute at the moment

(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:55, Reply)
Why are you feeling so 'meh'?
Is it the relationship issues from earlier this week?
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:56, Reply)
little bit
taken this long to realise I am going to miss him :( lame
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:57, Reply)
Nothing wrong with that.
How long were you together for?
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:57, Reply)
since April I think
but it's a distance thing and the rest.

Anyway I hope we end up friends - that's the bit I'd miss most
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 22:58, Reply)
How far away from each other are/were you?

(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:01, Reply)
80 miles
just long enough to make it a weekend trip rather than a day trip

edit: man, this is not going to turn into some internet couselling thing, Dr
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:02, Reply)
It can do. If you're bored and a bit low.
I can be all sensible and make you feel a bit brighter.

Alternatively, I can take the piss out of you and tell you to MTFU, the choice is yours.
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:05, Reply)
Or
we could suggest breakup music tracks and see whose song suggestion brings on the tears first!
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:08, Reply)
I'll go with
Stan Ridgeway - Camouflage.

Nothing more depressing than that.
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:09, Reply)
I think it might be tears brought on by the
quality of music at a gues
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:10, Reply)
*blubs*
so mean!
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:12, Reply)
oh god!
misery corner!
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:13, Reply)
ah, I'll be fine
if he hadn't dumped me, I guess I'd have had to do it sooner or later. Time to MTFU and work out at what point I can go "hey, how's it going?" to him without seeming like a scary stalker, desperate bint
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:09, Reply)
Did you book somewhere for the Bristol bash?

(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:10, Reply)

Well that'll be something to look forward to.

(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:12, Reply)

although the way you said it makes me sound proper sad. I reckon I might do something fun between now and then :)
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:20, Reply)
You'll have fun and get drunk in cider country.
What more do you want?
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:21, Reply)

(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:22, Reply)

(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:26, Reply)

(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:26, Reply)
So there'll be no need for any blackcurrant.

(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:30, Reply)

(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 23:31, Reply)
