Can I please have all your opinions of the Foo Fighters because that'll really matter.

which means I'll have to be on time for work.
Supported by Death Cab for a cutie and Jimmy Eat world I think.

JEW are awesome but apparently their new album is rubbish. Deathcab are ok, but proper emo.

I don't mind them but I have no idea why they were up for the Mercury

I don't understand why they are as popular as they are, but they are okay.

And Dave Grohl seems like an alright chap.

Either that or they've progressively got more shit and repetitive.

saw them on their first tour in Paris and their second at Glasto 98. Not seen them since. Probably should, that will give me more opportunity to perve on Dave Grohl

they've got some great ones, but too many are dull.

is going to have quality control issues. Dave Grohl is a nice chap whose heart is in the right place, but his band are mediocre and extremely patchy: best work: Probot feat LEMMY KILMISTER.

Admittedly it does help that Joss Homme has a voice made of sex

If a totally unheard of band issued that album it would sell about 12 copies to the band members mum and dads. THe only reason it got hyped so much is all teh sad music critics wanking over the thought of a former member of led zepplin playing with a former member of nirvana and a guy who made a brilliant second album with his second band followed by a reasonable third album and since then has produced nothing of merit.

the bass players mum and dad and sister and brother and the drummers mum, stepdad, dad, stepdad, grandma and aunt carol.

I've gone off Them Crooked Vultures at a steady rate since they released their album.

I saw them at download, I have never seen such a disinterested crowd.

At download, everyone was just waiting for the ULTIMATE EXTRAVAGANZA that was AC/DC, so everything else paled in comparison.
(, Thu 28 Oct 2010, 14:33, Reply)
I didn't bother going to see them.

interesting time signatures and stuff, but that's not enough to hold my interest.

More that 1 in 5,000,000 people have heard of them you know?
